I eat at this restaurant about 1-2 times a month. Last December my vehicle wouldnāt start after I ate my meal. It was about dark, about 7pm, so I went inside and asked for a jump. I had the cables. They told me nobody had a car to do it. While waiting for a family member to help me 10 min later the guy from the cash register jumped in his car parked beside the entrance and drove away. Made me mad but I decided not to leave a review. Then two days ago I stopped in for an early dinner and found an employee smoking in front of the door that I had to walk through. I wasnāt pleased. He later came in and finished eating his food at one of the tables. Then I noticed all the other employees leaving the restaurant at the same time and huddling outside near two vehicles parked by the building next to the sidewalk. When a drive-thru customer turned into the parking lot two employees rushed inside to take the order. It is clear to me there is no management at this restaurant. Of the nearly 30-50 times I eaten there Iāve never once seen a supervisor/manager there keeping people in line. Iāve been eating Popeyes for about 30 years since I was in the military but Iām very disappointed in the culture of this store. The owner of this franchise needs to get involved, and at a minimum require employees and employees āridesā to not park beside the restaurant because they use that space to huddle, smoke and who knows what else. And there should be no smoking on the sidewalk where...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGave it another shot, this time we did get all the food! However, same attitude when spending $50 for a family of 5...even ordered online again, and went into get it. The gentleman I believe is the manager made sure to announce "wow, Vanessa has a huge order"...and sighed. Which doesn't make yiu feel valued. Once completed and he tossed it on the counter, mumbled 3 times (because I had to ask him what he said 3 times) to put the plastic warehouse In the bags and proceeded to double knot it...it was an uncomfortable experience...BUT we did get all our food, with a grumpy attitude that made me and my kids feel very unwelcome.
I have never tried Popeye's until yesterday. I will say the food, it
The downfall...I had to online order...when we pulled through the drive-through and let them know the orders the man on the speaker just said "Wow" we sat there for another minute until he said to come around. They gave us the food, we didn't get our drink...when I asked the woman at the window said it doesn't come with one...so we parked I looked at the order...and it did come with one. I had to go inside to get it. No sorry, nothing just handed me the cup.
On top of it, got home and were missing a fry order. We only ordered 3 different "deals"...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI wanted dine in, at 9:43 the dining room door was lock, so I had to go through the drive thru, had to wait until the cashier finish her text message on her cellphone before she would take my credit card. I wanted a chicken sandwich, please make sure it is fresh. She gave me the sandwich, I open it while at the window. the bread was like freezer burned on the bottom from sitting on the steamer too long. I requested a new bun, after waiting for 5 minutes. The teller came to the window and her comment was "I made you fresh one, it just came out of the toaster", she immediately closed the window and walked away. When I open the bag, it was a cold bun. If it just came out of the toaster, the toaster was not plug in. This is the WORST Popeyes I have ever experience as this the second time I have had issues with this location - just that Ghetto. I will never eat there again - I will always go to the ones in Greensboro in the future. If she is untruthful about warming a bun. How can anyone trust her to wash her hands, or handle anyone's food. This is a direct result in poor shift management. If you are paying them to do a job, hold them accountable or replace them. This includes shift mangers.
