Yummy Crab Juicy Seafood — Restaurant in Winter Garden

I've been looking for a new quality type of place similar to Yummy Crab, but there are just so many that are just so average, or downright not good, not clean, etc. This is NOT the case with Yummy Crab!! Don't be fooled by its somewhat nondescript location of W. Colonial (Hwy 50). It's what you experience when you walk through the doors that matters!

This place is CLEAN. It smells fresh, and in its simple presentation, is welcoming. If you eat in, they spread butcher paper over your entire table (and you're going to NEED it if you're enjoying one of the amazing boils!). Prices are fair for this type of quality food... and similar to other types of the same.

The difference with Yummy Crab is the QUALITY. Amazing! Fresh! If anything I was served in my combo boil - snow crab, lobster tail, shrimp (you can order certain dishes with head-on, or head-off... OFF, please... although you're still going to need to peel the shell and all those little tiny soft legs off ;), corn cobs, red potatoes... amazing! I chose the Yummy Crab sauce, mostly because of all the raves in Google reviews, and it did not disappoint (I ordered "mild" spicy, which is just a step above not spicy at all, and it had plenty of flavor and a bit of bite).

If anything they served me had been frozen before, you should couldn't tell from the texture, flavor and overall quality - it tasted so fresh (SO rare at any of these places). They provide you plastic gloves, and a plastic-lined pail on the table for your discards. The flavor was incredible, and the service was fast and friendly... can't wait to try something else there... so glad I found this place and tried the little hole in the wall in...

Absolutely phenomenal! My husband and I were on a road trip to visit family on the night before Thanksgiving, and we stopped here for a late supper. Our order was prepared within 5-10 minutes and was SO DELICIOUS! We got 1 lb snow crab and 1 lb dungeness crab, both with garlic butter seasoning, and 1/2 lb crawfish with Cajun seasoning with 2 drinks for around $70. It was the BEST crab I’ve ever had! I’ve been to similar places in the past, and always felt they were mediocre, but the crab here was PERFECT! It was so perfectly cooked that the meat slid right out of the shell. The sauce was outstanding - my only thing to say is that bread would be a great addition to dip in the sauce because my husband was eating it with a fork after he finished his crab! We left fully satisfied - each 1 lb of crab was two large clusters, generously portioned especially for the price, and also came with potatoes and corn.

I also have to comment on how sweet the owners are. As out-of-towners looking for somewhere to eat on the night before Thanksgiving, this was the only place available besides fast food or the WaWa. We arrived about 30 minutes prior to closing, and the owner immediately greeted us. We were the only people there, and she stayed almost 30 minutes after they had already closed talking with us. This is a family owned business, and they are so lovely.

We will be driving back home next week and intend to stop back again for supper. If you go, definitely get some sort of crab and garlic butter seasoning - it does...

Our kids and niece wanted to eat seafood boil after watching it on TikTok 😒 We had never tried it. They were begging for us to go. So we told them if they didn't eat the food they would have to pay for it 😂 Anyways we searched for the best one near us. They were sooo confident that they would eat it so we went. Ok so I have to tell you that we ALL loved it, had so much fun eating it, and ordered some more! Our server, Shai/Shy?, was so sweet and very patient with us because we had no idea what to order or how to order it but she made it so easy for us to order seafood boil! I had also ordered the fried catfish, extra crispy like Shai recommended, it was yumm! Hubby ordered the oysters which he enjoyed a lot as well. Our kids and niece were all digging into seafood boil with their plastic gloves! I highly recommend this place.. finally a TikTok trend that was safe and fun for the entire family 😂 Thanks to, the best server, Shai, and Yummy Crab...
