Unfortunately we were unable to dine, as we entered into the waiting area the hostess informed us that they would be closing soon at 8pm. It was only 7:40 pm. Prior to arriving I personally checked their website for closing times and it clearly stated 9pm. The hostess was kind in explaining that she has been trying to get "them" to change that on the website however, I felt they could have placed a sign on the entrance door stating the early closing time. Nowhere was it clearly posted. My ratings are based on recent visits prior to today's attempted visit. I can understand that business perhaps has been quite laxed as of late however, they could improve immensely in so many ways. We've been patrons of this location and establishment since it opened. We were extremely satisfied with their service, food and the establishment itself. However, since then service has declined greatly, prices have increased to the point that it's ridiculous to justify getting an appetizer as the proportions are small and prices are high, and the quality suffers as it seems and that they can hardly keep a diligent well trained crew. I understand the times are tough and it makes it difficult to maintain any establishment these days, however people work hard for their money and expect at the very least a service that leaves them wanting to come back for more. This experience as of late leaves my family and myself wanting to find a place where the basic standards of running a quality business/restaurant where they truly care about their patrons and the service that they render are of their most importance. We tend to tip extremely well and we really appreciate those that work hard to give us a great experience. My hope is that you can improve. We, (the community, your patrons) deserve it and I personally want you to do better. I do believe in second chances and I hope this drives Perkins as a franchise corporation and personally owned business's likewise to truly hear their patrons voices and thrive to do better. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Concerned...
Read moreUpdate: Decided to try there again. Heard there was a new owner. Food was good and service great. I was very glad there was wifi for customers. Until the new owner started walking around the restaurant, with his unleashed dog running around everywhere. No vest to say service dog. Not on a leash!!!
This restaurant must be a franchise. The Perkins standards surely aren't practiced here. The food, once it FINALLY reached us, was good. But waiting for a hour for it to arrive, then be approached by the manager and asked if we were still waiting.....ermm, yes. Your first clue should of been the absence of any plates on our table. Maybe the empty glasses, pushed to the end of the table was a hint? Then you tell us they are starting to "work on it now". For us to wait another 20 minutes. The temperature is comparable to the Artic. Maybe raise it up to 78. Most people are comfortable in 78. Even 76 would be better then freezing your guests. The poor busboy was sitting people. Kudos to him for a job well done. Maybe your business needs more then 2 servers on? 8 tables of people are way too much for them to handle. And apparently, you needed to double your cooking staff, maybe triple it. A hour and 20 minutes is not the normal wait time in any restaurant. Yes, i was once a manager for Perkins. I know what the standards are and you fall far...
Read moreI understand everyone is understaffed right now so I leave this review with reluctance.
Got there at 10:25 with one person standing in front of us waiting to be seated. There were plenty of empty seats, it wasn't very busy. Stood there until 10:33 before we (party of 3) got seated. Under the table was disgusting and looked like the food had been on the ground for days (pictured).
I ordered a coffee and water, a chocolate milk and a sweet tea. At 10:55 I finally got my coffee. I had to wait for the server to come back again, eventually, before I could ask for the water I ordered. Food came out just about 11:00. My kids were happy with their food. Mine wasn't terrible but I had basically full strips of barely cooked bacon on my Big Country. Debated saying something but with how long everything else was taking I just ate around it.
Took my little one to the bathroom and it looked like someone took a bucket of urine and splashed it around the urinal. My shoes were sticking to the floor. He can't use a urinal yet so took him into the stall only to find feces on the toilet seat. Wasn't thrilled to have to wipe someone else's poop off the seat so my kids could use the bathroom.
Our server seemed extremely overwhelmed so I won't criticize her but the experience overall was terrible.
It was my first time going there and I won't...
