Bought wattmeter, didn’t function right, HRO graciously accepted the return a week later. I upgraded to custom made wattmeter almost double the cost. I “thought” I would see the unit in the usual time frame, I didn’t. I called back with inquiry, and was told item is on “back order”. I said , “why wasn’t I afforded that info when I paid $600 ? “. So I wanted the item and decided to wait. A couple of weeks went by, I called back, no help, said item was on back order, would check with builder and get back. Didn’t hear back, so I called again. Same old story, nobody knew anything, and they offered me a refund. I told them I just wanted to be informed, and not get the run around. I was told I was on the “waiting list”, and that the New Hampshire location would handle the delivery to me. I was told last week, that my unit was going out late in the week and I would be notified by email. Once again, no email, no knowledge of where my unit is, if it has actually been built, when I will receive it.? I’m frustrated with HRO. Nobody seems to know, honestly, where my unit is, after 5 weeks of waiting and many phone calls to ascertain that information. And that frustration prompted this lengthy...

I purchased a kenwood TS-590sg from the Florida store , BIG mistake. I explicitly requested Mike to make sure the radio is shipped in an additional box for the trip. UPS is very rough with packages. Mike said no worries. He was very polite and accommodating. Well I received it with no outer box just the kenwood box that was severely crushed on one side and had a small puncture . So much for customer service. I’m very disappointed with this branch. I always call the Virginia store and deal with Joe Dobes. I must’ve purchased 15 transceivers in the past 10 years and Joe always made sure it was packed with extra protection. His customer service is exemplary. Thank you Joe. Unfortunately going forward if the Virginia store is out of stock I will go elsewhere . The total disregard for a simple outer box request is not good business. I paid over 1700.00 dollars and the Florida store failed. I left a 5 star review prematurely I should have waited to...

I am so happy that they opened this local store. I heard about it opening on the Orlando Amateur Radio Club meeting youtube channel video.

I was looking to buy an anytone radio and found it on amazon. But before ordering it , I felt I should support this local store that just opened up. I drove an hour to buy it from them instead.

Henry assisted me. He answered all my questions and was very kind and helpful.

The store was very clean and organized.

I also got a chance to drool a bit at the icom 705 lol.

Please shop this store when possible and support them. I understand that it is easy to buy things from amazon but we need to support our local shops to keep them alive.
