McDonald's — Restaurant in Wiscasset

Used to go here often but don’t anymore because they can’t consistently make an iced coffee.

Their hours say they are open until 11pm, but when I role up to the drive through at 10:50pm I get ignored and they pretend they are closed. I drive around and can see through the drive through windows that they are just in their phones. Has happened to me multiple times. I complained about this to corporate who forwarded it to the manager and never got a response.

Also can’t complete an accurate order if you order more than 3 things. Something is bound to be jacked up and/or poorly put together. Have complained about this to corporate who forwarded it to the manager and never got a response.

Higher prices, slower service, and...

Usually pretty good, but my last experience was disappointing to say the least, they took my order, took my money, gave me my soda at the window and said my order would be a few more minutes, can I pull ahead...waited 5 minutes and they came out handed me my fries and my change back and said they were out of the chicken tenders, so it took them over 10 minutes to discover they were out of the tenders? and because of the long wait in line and waiting for my food, I had no time left on my 30 minute lunch break to order or go some where else...not impressed...didn't even get a coupon for my touble, I dread what summertime is going to be...

The food is done right. They are not able to find all the workers they need to make it a fast service all the time, but they are doing a great job with the staff they have. Give them a thank you as you drive through or when they have enough staff to have the lobby open. They stayed open through the pandemic when many were getting extra money to stay home and "safe" yet kept going out and spending all the money they got in stores. Don't treat the ones willing to be working (so we can keep getting what we want), badly. Be patient...
