What a shock, the paid shills down here licking boots 😂 Can someone explain why the township is is able to use our tax dollars to keep building businesses to charge the taxpayers a premium on? Yes, I am aware there was federal funding involved on this, but ultimately that comes from the taxpayers as well. The cost of living is unreal and the people raising our taxes are the ones profiting on both sides of the deal.
This is a massive conflict of interest and it's happening all over the township.
**To those of you who appear to be renters and new to the area, the issue is with the management of this business not the fact that it's there. Some of these puff reviews are either renters or people that are part of the problem. I know shiny new objects are exciting.
It's not grumpy old locals, it's an ongoing valid funding concern. Until you contribute to the tax base or understand the issue in a meaningful way, don't run your mouth about things that are beyond your...
Read moreUpdated Review July 2025 - They now serve hand-mixed drinks (not just canned), some frozen drinks, and more draft beer - now they need some better wine choices! They've also gotten more strict about outside food, and it not being allowed, noting the rule in event postings. Great line-up of free live music performances each week Wednesday-Sunday, and more food truck options. They have outside heaters for the cooler weather coming up.
Review Oct 2024 - Nice marina vibe; lots of tables and bar seating; lots of parking; only serving canned cocktails ($8), plastic bottle wine ($8), canned beer, and a few beers on draft. They accept cash or card. Despite the sign saying no outside food allowed, I did see other patrons with food, as it should be if you don't have a full kitchen covering everyone's dietary preferences. The food trucks...
Read moreFun little outdoor spot to enjoy some open air space along the water. Friendly service at the foodless bar, but sadly a limited tap selection with mostly mundane (read: not craft) selections. A brew from nearby brewery Kane would improve things in this regard. Skip cocktails here. I got a barely recognizable Moscow mule and regretted it at first sip. There's generally a food truck rotation in the parking lot and you can ignore the signs that indicate the prohibition of bringing food to the bar or surrounding tables. I can only figure that those signs were a mistake or were put up (and then not taken down) before the decision was made to not sell food. When I visited there was a live performance, hence my comment on noise level versus conversation. The volume was a little...
