Wanted to do vegetarian meal and asked if I could substitute snow peas and canned pineapple for chicken. She said yes. I bought two dishes of it—so even less prep and only 1 can pineapple needed. It cost me five dollars each for the 8 Snow peas in each and five dollars for each for the canned pineapple (which she said was going to be canned). There was a language barrier, and that’s possibly the reason for the confusion, I did ask for someone else who could understand after trying 5 minutes. I was trying to figure out if the sauce was going to be vegetarian. They declined. I did not clarify how much each extra item would be, typically other restaurants charge between one and three dollars. The normally $12 plate was $22–so 44 instead of 24 dollars and they did not have to pay for the chicken! While the food was amazing, the service was totally shady and me and my 7 family members will not become regulars even though the stirfry was wonderful. I would have left a 20% tip, but because of overcharge on this, I only left the minimum that was required for a party of seven, which was 10% (I did have eight people sitting there because we have a foster girl who is special-needs and she hast to use a gtube) Other family had The orange chicken was hard and definitely from pre frozen and my normally not picky daughter wouldn't even eat it. The general Tso’s chicken was hard The same as the orange chicken, except for that it had a different sauce so it wasn’t a typical recipe for general Tso’s. If you go there for stirfry and dont substitute, would be fine but I experienced highway robbery! also, a bottle of the Jarritos pineapple or guava soda bottle was four dollars, three dollars would be pushing it as it’s about 1.25 —1.40 in the store. I got 4. Shock at the bill 25 more...
