Al's Best Pizza — Restaurant in Woodbury

One of the best local Southbury ones we've found yet. The guys here are happy to talk to us and make new items. We've become regulars for sure.

Update: was picking up my pizza tonight and waiting my turn to pay when a pushy doordash driver came in and tried to skip the line of waiting customers. The driver gave the owner a hard time and started to get obnoxious but the owner politely informed the driver he had to wait just like his customer would have to. I kept quiet and just smiled throughout the entire exchange as I was already being helped and not wanted to cause a ruckus in a place I frequently visit. These guys have my business for life. Good on them for sticking to their guns and catering to all of their customers rather than just getting him out the door. Solid people, good...

If I could give 0 stars i would.. literally the owner cussed me out and got 2 inches from my face Because I asked him one time How much longer the second half of my order would take.. My pizzas came out first and there was only a salad that I was missing and just because I asked him one time How much longer he would think it would be.. He walked around the corner got 2 inches from my face and told me to get the F out of his restaurant that I was nothing and he was the owner he said to me "What do you own? We've been coming here since they opened in Woodbury, and it's safe to say that they're still just as good, if not better. Everything I've ever had here is always hot, fresh, and tasty. If I ever have time, I always try and come in for a slice of Buffalo chicken pizza. It always comes out in a timely manner, and is constantly amazing every time.
