BaoVy Boba — Restaurant in Woodhaven

So much better than other places in the area. Not overly sweet witch I adore and is hard to find in an American bubble tea shop. The tapioca was not overly hard or chewy and had a nice mix. All of the workers are friendly. There were games to play and had a nice atmosphere. They know what a good bubble tea tastes like and not some random coffee shop that sells bubble tea to make some extra money. I'm not a big person on flavors but when I did try flavors other than traditional were amazing. Recommend for first time and enthusiastic bubble tea drinkers. Tapioca pearls are made in shop and if you come inside at the correct time, the pearls will be really warm and chewy. Cheese foam should be mixed prior to drinking so the foam is not just on top and is evenly distributed. Hot milk teas are really nice and creamy. Boba bear is great I’m so happy to have it in the area! Clearly people who know what they’re doing and not just adding mid boba onto their menu because it’s trendy like a lot of chains are doing right now. The lovely person working was very friendly. Everything was perfect and so yummy, boba was the perfect texture and lots of great flavor options so I’m excited to go back and try more. I had brown sugar with tapioca boba for my first visit and it was excellent. My nephew got a crazy combination that I was skeptical about and that turned out really good as well. Also it’s so cute in there a really nice place to sit and have your drink and listen to their very fun playlist. Loved that mochi baked goods were available....

I’ve been here twice now and have been very pleased both times. Today there was only one worker but she was very kind even when it was busy, and you could tell she took time to make the drinks well. Her daughter was also there and was extremely cute (just an added bonus.) There have been more flavors added since last time so I look forward to seeing what else they come up with! I do wish they had some dairy-free options, but I know it can be tricky with milk tea to offer this sometimes. Overall, I love this boba shop and think it is the best in the area! I’m not from around here but would easily make the drive.
