Dunkin' — Restaurant in Woodhaven

I had a very disappointing experience at this Dunkin’ Donuts location. I stood patiently in the lobby for about five minutes with no acknowledgment. I even stepped away to use the restroom, came back, and continued to wait…still, no one said a word to me. I tried to say “excuse me” to get someone’s attention, but I was completely ignored.

I understand that things can get busy, and I was more than willing to wait. However, a simple “I’ll be right with you” goes a long way in customer service. What’s frustrating is that I was the only person in the lobby, and yet no one even made eye contact or acknowledged I was standing there. After nearly 10 minutes of being disregarded, I decided to leave.

If a business can’t offer the basic courtesy of a greeting or acknowledgment, it’s not a place I feel comfortable spending my money. This was incredibly rude and...

My experience in one word....UNACCEPTABLE!!! As I gave my very simple order....3x into the speaker ...plain bagel and strawberry cream cheese...simple enough..right??? Well, as I drove up to double check that they got my order correct and pay...Dave...who was working the window , told me that in fact he did not get my order and that someone behind me has placed their order and I will have to get out of line and drive around the building and place my order again.....ARE YOU SERIOUS??? I in fact asked him this....surely he can't be serious....he was....now angry...he took my order....and wouldn't you have expected nothing less than a order that was wrong!...Customer Care is beyond lacking.....if you do not like what it is that you do....pursue something that is more suited to you...because clearly it is NOT...

Stopping here is part of my morning travel to work routine. The friendliest group of workers around. I used to be able to get a blueberry bagel, but they discontinued them. I also used to be able to get the Chicken salad sandwich on a croissant, but that too was discontinued. So, I started going somewhere else for coffee and my morning snack! But it wasn't the same! I missed the friendliness of the people I had gotten to know, plus the coffee was consistent every visit. So, if you're reading this.... and you don't want a BB bagel or chicken salad, but you want bubbly happy people to serve you a well brewed cup of coffee... then this is your place :-) But dont go between 8 and 9 because you'll make the line longer...
