I love Starbucks and usually this location is pretty good, but twice in the last month the drive thru has been closed. There are two entrance/exits. One off of West rd and the other on Allen rd. The Allen rd side you can only make a right into from and a right to exit as this is a busy corner right by a light. One of my biggest pet peeves is most customers who turn in from Allen rd expect to cut into the line instead of driving around and getting in line. They block the drive for people trying to exit and cut in line. They could also turn the corner and come in the West rd entrance to get in line. Starbucks needs to add signage or arrows or both for people who dont understand how drive thrus work. The West rd entrance you can make a right in from, or a left from the left turn lane but this annoys some drivers who are trying to make lefts onto Allen rd. The parking here isnt great as the drive thru line can block most cars trying to leave in and block open spots for those trying to park. Most of these things are not a regular issue and only have happened to me about 30% of my visits. My drink orders are usually spot on but on occasion they have ignored my request for coconut milk and used whole milk (yes I can tell the difference as can my stomach) and I've had to throw out my drink because I dont have time to go park and go in to have it remade. For as much as drinks cost this should...
Read moreAt other Starbucks, the orders are prepared as they are placed. For example, if someone orders inside the restaurant before someone in the drive thru, their order should be worked on first. This Starbucks does not do that. They process drive thru orders before orders taken inside the restaurant. When we arrived, the drive thru was packed. The area is small to begin with so we could not even wait in the drive thru line without blocking the exit. We decided to park and go inside to order. There was no one inside except a few people waiting for their orders. We quickly ordered (2 drinks and 2 breakfast sandwiches). We waited and waited over 20 minutes for our sandwiches while car after car went through the drive thru ordering drinks and sandwiches. We were not the only ones noticing this system. When I inquired about our sandwiches, I was rudely told by a female employee if I did not like it to go to the register & get my money back. That is what I did. We are from a different part of the state so it is doubtful I will ever go back to this Starbucks but felt inclined to let others know. Don't go inside to order. Stay in the long drive thru line even if it blocks traffic because you will be...
Read moreI went to the Starbucks drive thru in Woodhaven today at 11:12. I ordered two coffees and egg whites egg bites "extra toasted" When I got to the window, the young lady ringing us up, Gabby was very polite. A young lady by the name of Sophia brought the egg whites to the window, I asked them to please look at them and see if they were toasted and not just warmed. They still looked white and barely warmed. I asked if they would please put them back in a little longer. Sophia then proceeded to not only roll her eyes but let out a huff. I said I'm sorry there's no reason to roll your eyes at me, the look on her face was of complete shock that I had in fact seen her do it. Keep in mind there was not ONE person behind me at the window of the drive through at this point. Both girls then walked away from the window and brought the bites back, which were at this point burnt, clearly out of spite to the point they could not even be chewed. My family and I spend lots of money at your establishment weekly and we all can acknowledge it's not cheap. I was not rude to either of these young ladies and do not appreciate the way I...
