This has to be the worst location ever, here I thought I would give them a second chance and do dinner there but nope customer service still rude. Today I placed a curb side order as you call and it says push button two for curbside with Katt, so then when the lady picks up and takes the order, she placed it for carry out so I told her I placed a curbside order, Katt was her name I don’t know if it was short for something else, but she said for curbside we only take card so then I told her well I have the exact cash she said yeah well you would have to come in I go but I placed a curbside order she goes yeah I’m sorry we don’t do that. Curbside is only through a card transaction. So I said OK then I’m sorry just cancel my order then please. I thought about giving this location a second chance but nope, customer service there is still horrible. The last time I placed the order at this location. They did not want to take an curb side order after 6:30 PM and it was slow there. So then I have to drive too 2 to 3 cities over for the next Bob Evans to get my order corrected and through curbside. I also spoke to the manager there and they said that’s weird. They should be taking cash for curbside as well so I ask her are all the Bob Evans owned by the same owner you know being that they’re so close by each other she said they have the same district manager so I would like to have a district manager reach out to me if possible. Read moreWe had a very negative experience with this location and the manager currently on duty. I ordered through Bob Evans app for delivery. The dasher assigned to the order delivered the wrong food. I contacted the restaurant and was told that I had to deal with DoorDash. I cannot get with DoorDash because it was done through Bob Evans app. When I called a second time to explain I cannot dispute with door dash as it’s through their app. The employee got the manager. By the way, that’s the same person that told me to contact Door dash. The manager came on the phone and said “unfortunately if you cant understand Door Dash app we can’t help you.” Which is extremely rude! I am not incompetent! I corrected her, telling her it was ordered through Bob Evans app and YOU assigned the dasher. She proceeded to tell me that she would cancel the order and I would have to re-order everything! Are you kidding me. Just re-make my food and send it. You are the ones who messed up! We order here several times a month, and have purchased many of their holiday meals for home. This is not ok! Bob Evans has always had good food. There was a time it was my go to place for breakfast. This has changed. Maybe it’s competition, or maybe it was the sale to Golden Gate Capital in 2017. Whichever it is the restaurant moves down the list. I now prefer local places. I had the Sunrise breakfast ($6.19) and coffee ($ 2.29) Total 8.48 with tax $9.00 This is the most expensive breakfast, from the places I have been, and it does not even include meat. Two eggs cooked-to-order, served with hash browns, home fries or grits and two biscuits. The taste was good but not deserving the #1 rating I previously had given it. As stated above it was adequate. Eggs were good potatoes were very nice crispy and cooked perfectly. The biscuits were the best hands down. I was disappointed that the choices were not what I would have liked. I wanted Eggs (two), meat, potatoes and biscuits. I would have had to add an additional $3.19 for a choice of meat which would have made my total over twelve dollars. The competition would be half of that. Could be why Bob Evans continues to lose business. I remember coming to Bob Evans for coffee & biscuits only. It may be time to revisit that choice.
