Not my favorite. Very salty, cilantro and onions had wilted. There was also a flavor in the seasoning I couldn’t get past so sorry but I’m incredibly confused about the 5 star ratings! Been to many incredible Mexican restaurants and this one certainly does not fit the category. $95 dollars spent of inedible food. The lady at the counter was very nice though!

RESPONSE TO OWNER 6/27/24 I wanted to share my recent dining experience. Unfortunately, after the first bite, I decided not to continue with the meal and chose to discard the food. As a customer, I believe it is important to provide honest feedback about my experience. For you to have called me in the middle of a workday to argue my post is unacceptable and uncalled for!

I understand and appreciate that you prepare your food with care and passion. However, I personally did not enjoy the food. As someone who genuinely loves Mexican cuisine and has visited Mexico over two dozen times, my expectations were quite high, and I felt that the food did not meet them.

Please understand that a review is simply one person’s opinion, and it is natural that not everyone will have the same taste preferences. I hope you can accept this feedback in the spirit it is intended , learn to accept constructive criticism and utilize it to improve instead of calling back a customer to argue a review. Salty food is a common denominator amongst all low ratings reviews. Learn to improve your recipe instead of getting defensive. You too have a...

I am editing my review as the owner Alex got back to me and he is correct as I would have rated my first 2 visits as a “5”. Thanks Alex I do not wish to get an order on you. You guys work hard and I will just let you know directly if my order isn’t up to the excellent tacos I have had previously. I must say I was very disappointed in my order today. This is the third time I have ordered from tacos is life. The first 2 times, they were awesome, we had el pastor, chicken, and the shrimp tacos, and they were amazing. But today I got my order of shrimp tacos, picked it up at 4:30pm and the shrimp were so chewy, they were sooo over cooked. There were a lot of small shrimp, but I rather have like the previous times less shrimp but bigger size shrimp and cooked perfectly. Was it because it was prior to them closing? Or they are using different shrimp? But it was so overcooked I threw out half my order. I will still give them another shot, just because the other 2 times they were amazingly good. Hope it...

A Hidden Gem for Authentic Mexican Food!

We recently discovered this amazing little family-owned Mexican restaurant, and it’s safe to say we’ve found our new favorite spot. The restaurant may look unassuming from the outside—definitely a "hole in the wall" type of place—but don’t let that fool you! The warmth and hospitality of the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped in.

The food here is nothing short of spectacular. Everything we ordered, from the perfectly seasoned tacos to the crispy, flavorful flautas, and even the Mexican corn, was bursting with authentic flavors. Each dish tasted homemade and packed with fresh ingredients, giving us a true taste of Mexico.

We were so impressed with our first visit that we’ve already been back for seconds! If you’re looking for delicious, authentic Mexican food served by friendly people in a cozy setting, look no further. This place is a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered by all food lovers....

I don’t usually write reviews but omg! Literally felt like going to your grandmas house for dinner. It was so welcoming, awesome local spot! The lady that served us and took our order was so sweet and gave us recommendations and free tortilla chips. The food came quicker than expected so we didn’t even wait long but it was very clearly fresh and handmade, not like your generic fast food. My boyfriend currently won’t stop talking about how good it is and how he can’t wait to come back lmao! Also they actually paid attention to us while ordering and separated our tacos into two different plates when handing it to us which was so awesome. The al pastor empanada was actually a recommendation from the sweet lady and it was to die for! Definitely coming back for that & the birria tacos. (We also got the enchiladas which was my boyfriends favorite!)

I don’t know I’m not thrilled with my lunch this time. I was dying for a late lunch to hold me over and I wanted the nachos. I called up and said no beans and rice (since I’m allergic) and everything else was ok. I made sure it didn’t have that when I arrived and she said she put rice, and she would remake it. The vibe felt kind of off after. I got my lunch in a small container thinking it would be a big one. When I got home I live (2 minutes away) everything was just cold and the chips were so crunchy. Hardly any cheese and japs. This was $16 as a credit card fee was also placed. I’ve been to other places and $16 is crazy for this size. Unfornatley I won’t be coming here again due to the price, and I get it’s a small business but I’m very disappointed

We recently had the pleasure of dining here today. This restaurant brings out the food of its people with great prices. The tacos are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the flavors are truly authentic. We tried the fried pork, beef birria and chicken birria tacos and churros they were excellent. The tortillas are made fresh daily. The staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, we had a wonderful meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves authentic Mexican food.
