My Sisters Deli — Restaurant in Woodland Park

I have been passing this place for years and never thought of going. A neighbor of mine mentioned it and it's a wrap. This place is remarkably clean, these sisters are very pleasant, welcoming and friendly. I've missed out on years of good food. I have eaten here 4 times and I have never been disappointed except I can't sit inside, relax, meet up and eat due to the COVID-19. They have awesome specials and an amazing hot tray spread. Today I had their Pea Soup with a Reuben Sandwich. The soup was good, the Reuben was one of the best I have had. The prices are decent for the food. If I had to explain this place to anyone, I would simply say it's like being home, welcomed by mom and standing in one huge kitchen. It's very welcoming. I will support this local business and highly recommend you do as well. If you got 99 problems, this place ain't one. Everybody is treated like family. Three strikes. Each time I visited this restaurant I experienced some unsanitary practice. First time, the server handled the food and the money with the same gloves. The second time, the same server removed her gloves hand to scoop out my bagel with the bare hand with her claw like fingernails. The third time, the server places my cookie on the bare, germ filled countertop. Additionally, the order I placed today did not match the advertised description. I made a point of asking the server during preparation for the additional ingredients, which she snarlingly responded “it’s on there”. However, when I get to my destination and unwrap the sandwich, what do ya know...the ingredients where NOT on there. I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt by continuing to support a local business, but my experiences have been consistently unpleasant. If this review does nothing else, please update and stay current with your food handling...

Place sucks. Been here multiple times to give them a chance and they still fail being that I work in the food service industry. They say they are open until 3 PM, but somehow the grill is closed by 1 or 130. So if you only like sandwiches thats all your gonna get. They just work when it feels right for them and are very lackadaisical

Don’t go there 30 minutes before closing because they get overwhelmed while they try to do orders and clean at the same time. Cleaning time comes after closing not during service hours ladies! And they will get your order wrong

And there’s one lady who’s always eating behind the counter and isn't friendly who is a heavy smoker and coughs everywhere. The other two sisters are just in their own world .. nice ladies but everyone needs to wake up...
