This is not a bad Starbucks... But it is often crowded with "squatters"... People who bring in their laptop and claim a table for themselves for hours. If you just want to come in and get a coffee and sit for a few minutes... Good luck. You may or may not find an available seat. I've heard from the long-term Woodland Park residents (we just moved here a few months ago) that the Starbucks was located in a smaller place in town before. So, maybe they moved to a larger space, but it's still crowded depending on when you go. The sad part to all Starbucks now is that everything they make with espresso is now made by machines with the punch of a button. And it has become the Holiday Inn of coffee shops... They're all the same and the espresso is nothing special anymore now that the shots are no longer "pressed and pulled" by a true barista. Add to that their so called Social Justice bent and their crazy corporate philosophies... Not really a place I desire to be a regular at any more. And I used to be one of their gold card members that came to the store EVERY day! Now, It's kind of like McDonalds... Lousy food (coffee), but it'll do in a pinch. If you have the time and want your espresso drink made the way it was originally made by real baristas, go a few blocks down the road to Cafe Leo... Much better, but...

On several occasions, the wrong drink would be handed to me and I would have to correct it. Often, my food was forgotten. The last two orders, the drinks were wrong. Even though the sticker on the cup said latte, I was given regular coffee. Trip, after trip, being wrong, I started going to a different coffee shop.
The people here have been some of the nicest and friendliest. I hate to give up, on such a convenient place to get coffee and food, but spending money on drinks made incorrectly doesn’t make sense. ———————————— This is my favorite Starbucks location! The drive thru is easy, the staff is friendly, the drinks are always made right and you cannot beat the view!
I finally made a trip into the store. It is so nice! Great selection is displayed in a comfortable and very clean laid back store, with lots of seating! Don’t forget to take in the views, in the wonderful outdoor...

Pastry case EMPTY... they had already wrapped everything and put it away. TWO HOURS EARLY! I wanted a pastry but nope. They hate their job too much. I ordered a frozen drink but Nikki was too busy flirting with a young man and looking at pictures on his. Ell phone too even bother. Seriously she completely ignored me and my order. Nikki was snotty to me and my daughter. They accidentally Rang up and gave me the wrong size and REFUSED to make it right. NIKKI shrugged and said " oh well" I asked for a card with the manager name and phone number. She gave me attitude and said " we don't have any' and WALKED AWAY! I said can you please write them down for me? Thats when her snotty rude attitude really reared its ugly head. Truthfully... there wasn't an adult in the place and the kids working there had no idea about customer service. Gold hill Java coffee shop has WAY...
