The place is located in a plaza that dipped down from the main traffic. Plenty of parking spaces. Maybe we went at a time when there were not much traffic in the entire plaza but only 3 vehicles including mine were parked in the spacious plaza parking… almost a bit creepy and dingy so don’t bring a date here. The inside of the restaurant is nice with enough tables to seat 40+. We got 2 brisket sandwiches, with 1 of them being a meal, with fries and a drink. The fries were good - but the portion was hardly worth the upgrade of $5 more. The drink is one size - between a small to medium size drink in comparison to other fast food places. You self serve from the fountain machine. The breads were soft with sesame topping, but unfortunately ours were a bit burnt. The briskets were covered with onion, cheesy, spicy, and creamy sauce. I think the sauce has a good kick but I didn’t expect that. I was picturing a warm sandwich with fresh vegetables. That was me for being in a hurry to order. However, the warm sauce would be fine too if it was not so salty with the brisket! The brisket was too dry, not moist and tender - only with the sauce you can swallow them down. I couldn’t get my family to finish the sandwiches. It got tossed around a bit and my family are not picky eaters. I really want to like this place. It was a pricey mistake too!

Came to Charred Fork with a buddy and an empty stomach. Left full, satisfied, and slightly poorer 😂 I got the brisket sandwich with fries, my friend got the brisket platter with rice and salad (trying to balance BBQ with leafy greens), and because we clearly have no self-control, we split the 4-piece chicken tenders. Because nothing says “we’re adults” like an extra side of chicken tenders. The brisket was tender and juicy—no complaints there—but if you're a Texas brisket purist, don’t come in expecting smoke rings and a bark that bites back. This brisket is more “friendly neighbor” than “grizzled cowboy.” Still delicious though. The fries? Golden, crispy, and seasoned like someone’s grandma whispered love into them. The tenders were cooked well and nice and juicy, but the batter was flakier than your friend who always cancels last minute. It kept falling off mid-bite like it had other plans. Owner came by to check on us, which we appreciated. Super friendly guy. And bonus: it’s all halal, which earns big points. Only knock? The meal ran us over $60 for two people. For that price, I halfway expected the brisket to come with a side of financial counseling. But hey, at least we left full and happy.

I thought it was a bbq restaurant but it's not. The food was really fresh, and delicious. The menu options aren't kid friendly, meaning no specific "kids meal" option. They have 2 proteins, brisket and chicken. I wish there were more carb options for sides. They only have fries and basmati rice. We tried ordering a drink but the cashier said that it wasn't available yet. After we paid, and sat down I hear someone yell in the dining area "TABLE 4 YOUR DRINKS ARE READY"... like why? ..I'm a tired mom and would've liked to be served instead of getting up and going back and forth with multiple drinks. When our food came my husband only got silverware so I had to go get some by the door. When we needed to get to-go boxes, they only had the ones that were specifically for Sundaes. I had to use like 5. I asked the barista if they had the drink I wanted and she said they did and the cashier just didn't know. They never specified the dressing on the salad was spicy so my daughter couldn't eat it. The food was great, but the service was not it. I wouldn't go back unless they have more food options, kid friendly meals, and nobody yelling at us for our drinks.

This place has quite literally the best service I’ve encountered in a long time!! Today was my third time ordering carry-out from here. 1st time I had the whole chicken that comes with the fries side & salad side and it was phenomenal.

Tbh I don’t eat the salad or fries so I can’t comment on them since they just went to waste so the 2nd time I ordered, I ordered to replace the fries & salad sides with 2 sides of rice to which they said yes they’ll give me extra rice. I was extremely pleased they could do that for me since I’d just waste the other sides. But maybe it was busy and they just forgot because when I got home there seemed to be no more rice than usual with the chicken even though they did omit the fries & salad.

So this third time (today), I ordered the same thing explaining what happened last time and that I’d appreciate the extra rice that replaces the fries & salad to be 2 proper sides of rice. The guy at the front (I wish I took his name) just immediately said “Sure, I’ll take care of you!” Come to find out he misunderstood me and thought I was asking for 4 sides of rice total to account for the 2 I mistakenly didn’t get last time hahah That was super nice of him to do all that no questions asked when all I was making sure was that 2 proper sides of rice replaced the side salad and side fries.

While most places usually have only one of the 3 going for them (service, ambiance, food)— this place quite literally kills it in all 3 categories. Will be bringing friends & family in frequently. I hope they stay...

We stumble upon the name of this new restaurant while looking for halal food in Darien. We went in tonight and wanted to provide our honest review.

We were greeted cheerfully by the lady at the drink counter. The menu was simple, straight forward, & few items in number (which is a good thing when focusing on quality and good customer service). The small menu determines the quality of food. We ordered charred sandwich, rotisserie chicken, & brisket with almost all the drinks off the menu. The food was pleasantly brought to us by the manager (supervisor) & he stopped by later to collect feedback on the food. He was cheerful, friendly, & the other staff members were also friendly.

Food - was good; buns were softer and not too dry with the right amount of sauces & meat. The rotisserie chicken with salad, rice, & fries was also served with two complementary sauces. The burgers came with fries and a good size of drink. They offered complementary cake to collect feedbacks on the future time. It tasted like traumas but had a texture of a cake, a bit too sweet (personally) but overall was good.

The place is spacious enough to host a medium size & they have open floor plan which makes things easier. They can attend to many customers at the same time on the open floor.

Overall the experience was good, this was our first time, but we will absolutely return to enjoy other items on the menu.

It is...
