Noodles and Company — Restaurant in Woodridge

It's been a long long time since I ate noodles and company. I figured I'd give it a go because they are now open to 10:00 p.m. and I work late. I ordered the smallest garlic bread they have and a small pasta bowl. I was a little taken back that it's 13 bucks. But then I tried it and the pasta I got, Alfredo Montamore parmesan chicken, was actually extremely tasty. The garlic bread is good but the pasta is great. Staff was also very friendly and they have somebody with a very loud voice working register which is perfect because nobody could understand anybody while we're all wearing our mask.... Incompetent staff especially the pregnant asst. General manager. My first time here the cashier stood there like a bump on a log, did not greet me or help me as my son and I struggled to order not knowing what was good PlUS it was free kid meal night and she did not mention this. I ended up paying $7.00 for soup and a soda for my son then I sit down and see the "free kid meal" promotion on the table. I got Mac and cheese which was cold noodles with shredded cheese poured on top not melted or anything. It was like the adults were out for the night and the kids were playing in the kitchen. When I spoke to the Asst. Gen. Manager she was very unconcerned, as my first time I would have expected more. How disappointing! I will NEVER go...

Walked in there was a girl on her phone, who barely acknowledge me when she could’ve taken my order. I’m not a stickler about being on your phone when you’re at work, but if there’s a customer there like don’t do it in the front of house, the man who took my order was sweet, but I did notice that I saw no one washed their hands or put gloves on. As someone who used to work for noodles and Company I hold them to a higher standard than maybe most people do and I was extremely disappointed with my experience while being in there I have hope that the food is good, but I am not overly hopeful with the team that was in front of me that...
