Came to Pho Noodle Station with the extended family for dinner last night. Pleasantly surprised, despite a few minor flaws. We got pan fried potstickers, the fried calamari, karage chicken, and between the 6 adults, we tried the lemongrass pork rice vermicelli, lemongrass chicken rice vermicelli, pho #32, and #34 and #44.
My own dish was the lemongrass pork rice vermicelli salad. It was a very large bowl, so you certainly get your money’s worth. But in my opinion, the noodles were too thick/chewy. However, my wife and sister in law also both had the rice vermicelli dishes and they really enjoyed it. Maybe it was my own taste buds that were off. The egg roll that came with the dish was really great though. The pork was fine.
The appetizers were all pretty good. The dumplings were pretty tasty and were appropriately crispy. The karage chicken tasted very good too. My nephew devoured it. The calamari was not your typical calamari you’d get at an Italian restaurant, but my daughter still had several pieces. If you have picky children, you know it’s a win when they eat something different that what they’re accustomed to.
The real star for me was the well-done brisket pho (#34). The brisket was the most tender brisket I have ever eaten in a bowl of pho. My wife and brother in law were both not as sanguine about the broth in the pho, but I could not get over how delicious the tender beef was. A bite of noodles and beef was just a...
Read moreIt’s been a long time since I last came here. When we first arrived, it seemed like they were greatly understaffed. It took a min before they sat us down. It took longer than usual to get us water and take our orders. Entrees came out mins after our appetizer. For some reason, our waitress forgot to take our payment. The busboy ended up taking ours and the table next to us. There were many tables that still haven’t been cleaned after the customers left. Service is about a 2. Definitely worse than when we last came here a year ago.
We ordered spring rolls, pho, and marinated pork chops with honey sausage and fried egg. The spring rolls were chewy but decent. I didn’t like that it was so chewy that everything just fell apart. Broth in the pho was lighter than before, I would have liked it to be more robust. They reduced the amount of toppings to add to your pho. It used to be a substantial amount. Marinated pork chop was for the most part good. Honey sausage and fried egg were delicious. The pork chop could have been juicier. When I first went to the Woodridge location, it was easily one of my favorite Vietnamese places to eat. Now, it’s like mid overall. It could use improvements.
Plenty of parking when it’s not overcrowded. Prices were reasonable. Food portions...

The vegetable potstickers were good and I do recommend.
The V031 the seafood pho was soo incredible delicious and the portion sizes here were quiet large. It also came with bean sprouts on the side. Which were plated nicely.
My favorite item personally was the takoyaki it was delicious and had good flavors.
Then the mango smoothie boba this was a nice colder drink recommended by the server. This was delicious and the boba here is more fresh.
The finally the brown sugar milk strike boba was my favorite. The drink itself had a good taste and it was decorated beautifully.
Overall 5/5 would...
