Bojangles — Restaurant in Woodstock

So, our favorite thing here are the bo-rounds. Tonight my son and I ordered on the app, and got both of our meals bo-sized, because we really wanted those bo-rounds. We also selected curb-side pickup, since neither of us wanted to go into the store.

So we pay and go up to the store. We park in the curb-side spots. And in the app, it has a link to call the store. So we call, and it rang nearly 30 times. There were no other cars in the parking lot, and noone in drive thru. Fine, i get out of the car and go inside.

Behind the counter is an older woman with blue hair, and 2 young girls. They are gossiping about something and basically ignore me when i came in. When I finally got their attention, i told them we were her for curb side pickup, but noone answered the phone. The two younger girls looked at the older lady. I said well, we're in spot one and the lady said oh no, it will be 5-6 mins, you should wait here.

So heres the thing, if I wanted to go inside and wait, i would have specified inside pickup.

So i say can you just bring it out, and she walked away as if i didnt say anything. So I stand there for like 7 mins. I have a bad L5, so standing hurts after 2-3 mins, which is why I wanted curbside. Eventually, i get my food and go home, but not before one of the workers told me they unplugged or turned off the ringer so they didnt have to go outside. Note - it was not raining or anything. Just saying.

When i get home, my sweet tea was flat pepsi, which i poured down the sink. Not only did i have only 4 bo-rounds, but they had been fried more than once, and were crunchy and gross. I was waiting on chicken supremes to be cooked, and 2 out of the 5 were nasty and unedible.

So, $12 for a bo-sized meal, and 3 supremes and the bisquit were the only good parts, and they made me go in and stand around instead of handling the curbside.

I will absolutely never return...

Love me some Bojangle’s, but the Towne Lake location is sub par at best. On occasion you ight luck out and get some hot, fresh food, but not likely.

With today’s order the tenders were tiny, shriveled and burnt. They forgot my side orde of Bo Rounds. The potatoes had gravy after ordering them without. And the two breasts were burnt and leathery looking. Pulled back to the window and asked for fresh chicken and the correct and missing sides. The lady at the window this time appeared to be a manager. She apologized and replaced the tenders and added the missing Bo Rounds. However she said the breasts were right out of the fryer. I told her that they looked like they’ve been under a heat lamp for a while. She insisted that they were new. Checked my order again after she handed it back and the potatoes had not been fixed. Back to the window we go. She apologized again and got me some new potatoes and upsized them for my troubles.

Drove home (literally 4 minutes away) and began to eat. As I already knew, the breasts were lukewarm, leathery, and dry as a bone. None of those things are possible if it was fresh out of the fryer as the manager insisted.

My mother lives in towne lake and goes to Bojangles several times a week! We were there later this morning (after 11:00am), in the drive thru! My mother had to repeat the order 4X! The girl at the drive-thru couldn't hear the order, for laughing with co-workers! Once we pulled up and paid at the window, they asked us to park and they would bring the food out to us! 15 min later, the manager(Angelika, brought the food. My Mom and I, told her our concerns, she gave my mom a card for a free dinner, while making excuses for her employees, citing they were just young and she's trying to change their behavior. This is NOT professional! When this Bojangles on Eagle drive first opened, the employees were courteous and professional, now it is ridiculous! I'm not certain if this manager is new, but it seems as though she would rather be friends with her employees, than satisfy and maintain a professionally run restaurant! Will NOT be...
