I honestly wish I could give this place less than one star. I already don't visit this particular Taco Bell after 10pm, because the food is never good that late. I drive an extra 20 mins out of the way to another taco bell whose food is still good that late. But today, it was much worse.
Today I went thru the drivethru at this Taco Bell (Eagle Drive), and the line was taking FOREVER, even tho there were only two cars in front of me. When it was my turn it became apparent. They weren't taking the new order until the car at the window was gone. This made each order in front of me take 3-5 mins. We were told to keep waiting 3+ times while sitting at the order taking kiosk.
When it was our turn, our order was pretty simple. A #6 (chalupa meal) with a root bear and LIGHT ice, and a #1 (3 crunchy taco supremes) with a root beer with NO ice. Nothing very complicated here.
So, we pull forward and the guy in the window is facing away from us, having a convo with someone else. When done, he opens the window and asks for the payment. We pay, and when he hands back the card he asks us to pull around to the other side of the building and wait in the parking lot. And when I tried to request sauces, he shut the little door and ignored me.
So, I get it. They're timed on how long it takes to serve each car, but if you're going to cheat the system so you can lie to corporate and tell them your times are faster than they are, at a minimum give good service.
So, we pull around and wait for our food. After a few mins, the guy who took our payment brings our food. I ask him about sauces and he assured me that he put some of each in the bags. So, we take the food and drive home.
So, what did we end up with? First, both drinks seemed to have EXTRA ice, so our requests for light and no ice were ignored. Something that could have been corrected if we were sitting at the window. Second, the dude FLAT OUT LIED because there was not a single sauce packet in the bag., And third, I was charged the full price for a #1 meal, but not only were none of my tacos supremed, but they were the most anorexic tacos I have ever eaten.
So, in an effort to look better to the higher ups, these guys not only did a terrible job at, you know, doing their jobs, but they also lied to me and got my order wrong in more ways than one. For a store that just spent a bunch of money redoing the store, they did absolutely nothing right today.
Attached a picture of a sample of the tacos I got. $10.99 for 3 of these and what felt like a splash of rootbeer with my ice (when I requested one drink with light ice, and one with no ice). These tacos had barely any meat, barely any lettuce, and it looks like someone threw the cheese across the room and whatever few pieces landed on my Taco I got to keep. Also, the taco in the picture was the BEST ONE.
Taco bell on Eagle Drive is now off my list. I'll drive further to go to a different TB if I feel the urge for tacos.
P.S. - Also, I tried to call them a few times over an hour. It's obvious since the phone rings 10+ times without anyone picking up, they arent interested in...
Read moreI had a truly infuriating experience at this location this evening. My order was incomplete even after sitting at the window for greater than 12 minutes. The young man named Trevor overstepped the closing drive thru team member to handle my money while carrying on a personal conversation about plans after work. After receiving my change both team members left sight to what I presumed was preparing my order. As Trevor comes to the window to hand me my bag he is no longer in uniform and handling my food. This young man was in a tank top and after I addressed the issue of him not being in uniform, as I am a manager myself in retail, he played it off half heartedly while acknowledging with a smile that he should be. Through my frustration I decide to inspect my order and find out I am missing 3 items at almost the 8 minute mark. I asked for a manger to which I met Maria. Maria promptly handled the missing items but allowed a team member to handle food in a tank top instead of his uniform. The young lady at the window which I believe is named Nicolina, as I was informed by Maria, is as far as I can tell in training. However on my last visit she had to call a manager to do basic math in order to figure out what my change should be since she entered it incorrectly. Maria's dismissal of my concern with a team member working in a tank top, no explanation as to why it wasn't rectified because he was "working late" are ridiculous. Her gesture of giving me 2 bags of free chips was almost insulting because honestly at the end of the day when anyone as a customer goes to a business to purchase a product or receive a service all they want is what they paid for without hassle. I will be calling corporate tomorrow and I do hope that Ricardo the Store Manager takes the action to retrain his team if possible. If not then changes...
Read moreI would give fewer stars if it were possible. My family was dining in last night and from the minute we walked in felt very unwelcome. The night manager (I believe they were calling her Tiffany) is extremely monotone and downright nasty. We went in at 8:06, and the dine in closes at 10. She was talking about how she was hoping no one else was going to come in. We got our food, it was wrong, missing piece, cold and with crunchy beans. (bottom of the container). I tried to get Diet Mt. Dew and it was gross in the fountain so I wound up drinking water when I paid for a drink. Another customer also had this problem and had to get the incredibly unenthusiastic staff to assist him. Then a man came in who had been in the drive through and got the wrong items and they not only doubted him and basically were saying he was lying and trying to steal food (seriously?? Well dressed guy, very polite with food in hand that the staff themselves threw away!!!!) but also didn't have the mental fortitude to add 4 plus 4 and know they needed to charge him for 4 more items to bring it to 8. He wound up saying forget about it (his food he paid for, and money) and walking out. As the door was shutting a male employee said "Bye Princess" very loudly. NOT OK, at all. Ga is a right to hire/fire state and had that been my employee they would have been gone on the spot! The customer came back in asking for the male employees name which Miss Personality manager would not give out. He walked out again and took down the info on the door. He then decided to come back in and get his money back. All the guy wanted was a correct order and what he paid for. That's the same thing we all want. I have had nothing but trouble with this Taco Bell, and after the incredibly inappropriate and disrespectful display I witness tonight, we will...
