First time visiting this establishment. Came in for lunch with some coaches after a mtg and before a practice on a Saturday. Ordered a chicken burrito and a Coke Zero. While they had a lot of juices to choose from, only diet drink choices were bottles of soda. Waited a reasonable amount of time for the food to be prepared. The chicken burrito came with rice and beans and cilantro inside. Good flavor overall, but nothing great. The tortilla was really tasty but I did not think that the chicken had much seasoning and it was a little overcooked. The burrito came with fries as well which were the crunchy, batter type, seasoned fries you find in most bars now. Tasty, but again nothing special. I will say that the burrito was pretty large and I only ate half and took the other half home for the next day. When I ate the other half the next day and added a little more seasoning to go along with the salsa I had at home and sour cream, I feel that the burrito had much more flavor. Someone in the group I was with had street tacos and said they were really good. Small place with not a lot of seating area and tough to accommodate a group larger than 4 unless you were to push table together. I will try their location again and look to get taxi or something other than the chicken and see how the...
Read moreUpdate: 10/15/2025 Went tonight again… finally. And I am so glad I did. I ordered the quesadilla. It was great. Not like your typical one, even better. Homemade corn tortilla, with steak, cheese, lettuce, and just goodness. Of course you have to add their pink sauce(not sure what it is but it elevates everything there!). Enjoy this simple yet amazing place! The people here were so nice, and even the other customers were too!! I was so excited to try this place and honestly I feel bad leaving a 3-star review knowing I need to go back. I think I ordered the wrong thing. I got a steak huarache. I didn’t think it had flavor at all. The corn tortilla was soggy and the steak really didn’t seem like it had any seasoning. There wasn’t a lot of meat too so that was disappointing too! I ordered it because I haven’t ever tried a huarache any other place. I was torn between that and their quesadillas so next time I will be getting that. The rest of my party did enjoy their California burrito and steak quesadilla. Like I said, I wasn’t blown away but I definitely will be going back again to see if I enjoy another menu...
Read moreWe recently ordered catering for 100 people from El Serranito in Marietta for a graduation party, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. The food was absolutely outstanding—fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. Everyone at the party raved about it, and the portions were incredibly generous.
The service was just as impressive. The owner and his team were genuinely invested in making sure everything was perfect. They went above and beyond, coming in to cook and help with setup on a day they’re usually closed—just to ensure we had the freshest food possible for our party even though we said we could pick it up the day before. They were also great about responding to my texts when I had questions or needed to make changes.
On top of it all, the price was very reasonable for everything that was included. If you're looking for delicious, authentic food and exceptional service, I highly recommend El Serranito. We’ll definitely be...
