I want to start this off with how I absolutely love Mellow Mushroom & it’s always one of my favorite places to get pizza! However, I really wish this location would take themselves off of Uber Eats for the sake of other customers.
Today, I ordered dinner for my family, my visiting nieces, and I using Uber Eats since it’s easily accessible for all of my family members to navigate. The issue occurred when my father & I arrived for pickup: he was told that they “don’t have wings” and to “refund in the app”. This is incredibly frustrating, as it could’ve been mentioned in-app that this particular location doesn’t have wings. It would have made it SO much easier to be told UPFRONT that hey, they don’t have wings, I need to order something else.
This is the second time something like this has happened with this location. I wanted to believe it was a one-time occurrence but today has proved otherwise :( The first time; I ordered via UberEats and the order was confirmed through the app. My father went to pick it up 40min later at the scheduled pickup time, and when he arrived he was told they “weren’t doing UberEats orders”, despite NO communication through the app other than that it was seemingly open. I can’t imagine what a delivery driver would think if they arrived & the business told them they simply aren’t making orders or don’t have an item the customer ordered through the app.
I’m now out of $17.99, no dinner, & have to wait for UberEats to issue me a refund all because this location did not communicate better.
Please improve communication on UberEats or discontinue your use of it. It’s very...
Read moreI've ordered from here quite a lot over the last 6 months. Most of them have had issues. Often overcooked, sometimes undercooked, usually extra greasy. Tonight's pizza, the dough was undercooked and mushy.
The manager tells me they cook the pizza "for 6 minutes in a convection oven" and seemed baffled anything could be wrong with it because of this. Said she'd double check the oven temperatures. Based on this information I am not surprised that the pizza is often undercooked or overcooked; this is a predictable outcome in my opinion.
Checked the replacement crust at the counter, seemed better. Got it home: dough was soggy/mushy beneath cheese. A lot of things can cause this (not cooking hot enough/long enough, too much flower, watery sauce, overly moist toppings, too many toppings). Don't know what the issue is but I hope someone there tries to figure out their service issues.
The one before this seemed like it had been dropped in the box (folded at one side, cheese and sauce over the side, dripping in grease), and when I showed it to her, the manager asked me what was wrong with it.
They're always quick to offer a remake or refund, but I wish they'd put in more effort to get it right up front. Very...
Read moreI hadn't been to this location in over a year, never had a bad experience before. After tonight I will not be going back! It was me and my 10 year old daughter, when we got there it was empty. Other people sat down after us. We ordered a gluten free pizza due to my daughter's gut issues. We waited for over a half an hour. People who came in after us were seated, fed and wrapping up left overs before we got our pizza. I was told it would take another 10 minutes bc the kitchen was backed up (nice try). Then it took another 15 or so for it to finally come out. This tiny cardboard crusted pizza that didn't even taste good. Then I asked for the check and that took another 10 plus minutes for some reason, hoping there would be a discount for the nearly hour total wait. But no, my bill was almost 25 dollars for a tiny pizza and one drink. $9.99 for build your own, $3 extra for the nasty gluten free crust and $1.75 per topping (we got 3) it was supposed to be 4 toppings but I guess the server didn't add it like I requested. The pizza was tiny so thats a lot for the small amount of toppings we got. For what I paid, I could have gotten 3 really good and much bigger pizzas from Marcos!...
