The credit price of your meal will be different than the cash price. They do pass the convenience fee onto the customer. We ordered the small and large steak finger baskets. The small came with 4 steak fingers, 2 pieces of toast, and fries as well as one cream gravy. The large was 6 steak fingers, 4 pieces of toast, 2 cream gravies, and fries. Drinks were extra, but did have free refills. To be fair, before we ordered, we asked if the steak fingers were hand breaded, and they said no. We ordered them anyway to try them. If you are looking for steak fingers frozen from a bag that are exactly like Dairy Queen, then that's your meal. If you're looking for home cooked as their sign says, it's not your meal. The fries were crispy crinkles that were a bit overcooked and tasted like bag fries do. With all that said, they have other items on their menu that may actually be home cooked. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. Everything here seems to be centered around doing it as cheaply as they can as a business. There's no plates or real cups when you dine in. Everything is styrofoam. I would not order the steak fingers or the fries again at all. Based on my first try here, I would have to say it was less than impressive than I was hoping it was. People expect a small town cafe/diner to have traditional home cooked feel-good food, not fast food chain quality. This particular meal just didn't deliver that experience. Just not my cup of tea or what I'm looking for in a small town diner. It may be for you, though.

The wife and I wanted to try out this new place. It is like a country diner. She got the chicken finger basket. It comes with three chicken fingers and fries and a little thing of gravy. I got the hamburger basket which comes with this fat hamburger and some fries. The chicken meat on the chicken tenders was very juicy and the crust was a little on the crunchy side. At first look we thought the freeze would be too crunchy but they was actually perfect. The hamburger was huge in the meat was real thick and it was cooked all the way through. We thought it was slightly pricey but there were about four or five people working there so I know they have to pay for their supplies and their wages and everything. Overall we got very full and the food was very good and the service was really nice. They checked on us several times. We really enjoyed it.

They have really fixed up the inside of the diner. Looks like every surface has a fresh coat of paint. Even the tables and chairs look refreshed. Well, they charge a "convenience fee" if you use a debit or credit card. They also charge you a dollar for a plastic water glass. Yes, a dollar for a glass of water. We spent $44.93 there for 3 meals: Catfish (previously frozen, as I could tell from the texture of the fish) and fries; Shrimp and fries; BLT with an order of cheese fries ($5 for the fries).

We were heading to one restaurant, but since that one was closed, we came here by recommendation of a local gentleman. The very friendly staff was very patient with our questions, and our ordering. They checked on us a few times, but not intrusively. Our order took a little longer than we had anticipated, but it WAS lunch time. It was well worth the wait. The fried shrimp tacos were incredible, with the mango salsa and cilantro cream dressing... what a great flavor combo! The BLT on Texas toast was wonderful as well. I would...
