NU Chicken — Restaurant in Worcester

ABC (ABSOLUTELY BAD CHICKEN) And D for (Deception) I know you lying! They get 1 star because I am a nice Virgo. Look, I hate having to give reviews that are not savory 😒 but, damnit! This chicken is trash. A deception. No match for Dave's Hot Chicken. Do not go here if you like seasoned food. For $17.00 it was upsetting.

Seriously, how dare they represent Nashville in this way. It's rated "T" for terrible. And rated "B" for bland. It's so sad because the service although a long wait, was kind and super courteous. But, by God, it tastes like nothing. If you want an incredibly tasteless food experience then you can definitely find it here.

Healthier Option?! Who cares. Unseasoned fried chicken is an abomination to southern food homage. Again, I'm not one for raining on parades but, I'm a foodie, I have southern roots and I am also a great cook. A true kitchen witch. These high ratings on here are not accurate; lies and pure CAP 🤥 maybe people are having pity because they were so nice. Whatever it is, I wasted $30.

Please rethink this food because over salting the fries and pleasant greetings does not make up for the unseasoned chicken delivery. Fried chicken should have seasoning on it, not salt. My ancestors are not happy...

Having eaten in, and ordered from NU Chicken a few times since opening i can say the food is excellent here, and fairly priced given health conscious ingredients, atmosphere, and seeting areas especially outside are very nice, and always clean.

My only complaint is that attention to detail from service is lacking in consistency at the moment, wether it be kitchen staff or register. From the few times I've ordered food my orders have been messed up more times then not. First time I ordered I got loaded fries and no chicken was on them. My most recent visit I had requested no moonboy sauce on my loaded fries with no other modifications, and for some reason my order came with little to no fries in a tin? With moonboy sauce on them after i requested none. The group I was with ordered same and they all had correct portion sizes, however our friend who had ordered mac and cheese had it served barely warm, almost cold. Things were not particularly busy so im unsure why this happened.

I will obviously still continue to eat and order from here but I reasonably expect that service will hopefully get better as time goes on. My 4 star review reflects this otherwise I would say 5...

We stopped in to try Nu Chicken and just picked up 2 tenders and a side of fries. The service was friendly and attentive. It seemed slow and still took 15 minutes, but good food takes time. We got 1 plain and 1 medium (meteor shower.) The chicken was juicy and crispy and amazing. The fries were shoestring, hot and crispy. The meteor sauce was zesty and creamy. I stopped in the bathroom and it was clean and big and bright with a changing table. There was limited seating, not enough for my big family so we would have to stick with takeout or date night with the hubby. I saw a sundae made with custard and it looked amazing. We will be back for that. Why four stars? It was $16 for just the one small meal that wouldn’t have filled my teens’ bellies. That didn’t include a drink and tip, either. If I’m spending more than $20/pp, it’s going to be an experience where we can sit and talk and it will fill them up. I will be stopping in to treat kids or get frozen custard. But we won’t be getting full dinners here due to the high price for small...
