We visited O’Connor’s Restaurant & Bar for Restaurant Week and got to try a variety of dishes at a great price—just $29.95 for a generous amount of food. It’s definitely a good deal for the portions you receive. Food • Barbecue Wings – One of the highlights! The wings were incredibly tender, falling right off the bone, and the barbecue sauce was flavorful. • Hummus – A bit of a letdown. It was bland and reminded me of store-bought hummus, missing that fresh, rich taste. • Seafood Pie – Surprisingly delicious! It had the comforting flavors of shepherd’s pie combined with a creamy, clam chowder-like texture. Definitely a standout. • Stuffed Chicken Schnitzel – This dish had too much going on for my liking. With mashed potatoes, vegetable spread, and stuffing layered on top, it seemed to overwhelm the chicken itself, which also didn’t feel fully cooked through. • Desserts • Blueberry Brownie Sundae – A pleasant surprise! The blueberry added a unique twist to the typical vanilla sundae, making it sweet and enjoyable. • Tiramisu – A disappointment. It tasted more like a vanilla angel cake with a slight coffee flavor and chocolate drizzle. It lacked the creamy mascarpone texture and rich espresso-soaked layers of a true tiramisu. Ambiance & Service The restaurant itself is spacious, with a cozy Irish pub atmosphere. Each seating area has its own “street name” theme, adding a fun touch to the décor. Irish music plays softly in the background, enhancing the experience. The service was fine—our server made sure we had everything we needed, and the process was quick and easy. Overall Impression For the price, Restaurant Week at O’Connor’s is a great deal. While some dishes stood out (like the seafood pie and barbecue wings), others missed the mark (hummus and tiramisu). The ambiance is inviting, and the service is efficient.

2023 review_post Brendan and Claire I knew OC's wouldn't be the same after Brendan and Claire sold it, but it fell way short. I ordered take out, it took the 45 minutes that they predicted to fill the order. I ordered a Cheeseburger with fries, calamari and 2 side salads. The salads were the best part of the meal. The produce was fresh and there was a good amount of veg with the lettuce. The blue cheese dressing was a little sweeter than I prefer. My husband didn't comment on the burger but they forgot the fries! The calamari was incredibly bland and served with cocktail sauce. Something I haven't seen before and didn't care for. The menu says the calamari is fried and topped herb, garlic, jalepenos, butter both tentacles and rings ( sic). The herb, garlic, jalepeno , butter and tentacles were missing. Rings , cocktail sauce and banana peppers in brine is how it was served. Also , while I waited for my order, there were 4 parties waiting to be seated. They waited a long time. There were plenty of open tables and and 3 servers at the desk. I will wait a few months before going back.perhaps they will have worked out the bugs, if they can remain open! ---------‐--------------------------------‐--------------------------' Great service, EXCELLENT specialty drinks menu and the fish and chips were just lovely. The chips had a nice crisp exterior and fluffy interior, they were just right. The fish had a beautiful coating not too crunchy, a really enjoyable texture. My husband had the ribs which he enjoyed thoroughly. It was overall a very pleasant experience. I'd give an extra star for the cocktails if I could ,the selection on 03Aug19 was outstanding. Glad we live in the neighborhood so we can go back and work our way through the list. Especially since we can have satisfying dish to go with it. My only regret is being too full for dessert. I love bread pudding and O'connor's is one of the few places that serves it. Thanks OC for a job well done!

Parking lot was packed when we arrived at 1:00 for lunch before our WPI student Master degree ceremony at 5. They were able to seat us as a party of 7 right away. The wait staff was very attentive, the atmosphere was so like many pubs in Ireland. The potato pizza appetizer was incredible, and the pretzel trio was good but we could have gone for more. We ordered Schnitzel, Enormous Beef Pie, Seafood Pie, Shepard Pie, steak Tips and fish and chips. The enormous beef pie had an enormous crust but my very hungry husband wished it had more inside the tall crust. The Seafood Pie was good size however a bit light on the seafood, a couple pieces of each. The Schnitzel was enough for 3, although one of the hungry teenagers did a number on his. The fish and chips had a nice beer batter and was tasty, as was the Shepard's pie. Our steak tips were ordered medium but were rather well done, still tasty. Overall the food was very good. If I were ever back in Worcester I would indeed come back.

We went for dinner last night. First I didn’t realize new owners. Not really an Irish Pub anymore. They use to play Irish Music. Now music we hear on our he radio. We were not greeted with a hello. Just a quick table for 2. It was not busy so the welcome could have been better. Our waitress was very nice. However, was a little timid to reply about the food. But tried. Second it is restaurant week. I didn’t realize. But the menu was not the best choices. The butternut bisque was super sweet. Could have used less sweetener. I ordered the chicken dish presentation was beautiful. I wish it came with some garlic toast.Very tasty. Big portion. Brought home most.I was so stuff and was told I had a lot eat my dessert at the restaurant I could not take home. It was included in my meal, so I took one bite and asked for a box. I’m ordered a dirty martini filled to the top! Toothpicks could be larger for the olives.

This charming and fun pub, restaurant, was a lot of fun to spend some time in. We were there past closing time at 9pm, on a Saturday, but they didn't rush us. The food was pretty good, and the staff was very kind. The decor is fun and very eye-catching, so there is a lot going on and to see. The food was prepared quite quickly and all that we ordered came out at almost the same time as we ordered almost all of the appetizers. It's a very large restaurant, which could hold a lot of people, but the atmosphere was cozy and nice.
