This place is fantastic. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The prices are amazing. The food is delicious. We were helped very quickly and the food was served quickly as well. I got a fried lobster dinner plate. I kinda expected to get a bunch of small random chicken lobster chunks of meat, but I got several huge whole pieces. Whole tails and whole claws. Whole pieces. Not chunks. Huge ones too. Instead of cole slaw I got a big mix of fries and onion rings. And those were really really good. Definitely some of the best homemade onion rings I've had. It came with drawn butter and they have a squeeze bottles of tartar sauce instead of giving you one of those tiny cups of it. My friend got calamari. It was mostly rings and a few, maybe 5, of the whole tiny squid things. Which I believe is normal, in fact generous. It was a ton of food. We ordered at the counter where you walk in. And they bring it to you in the dining area. Which I like better than sitting down and waiting for someone to come take a drink order, then waiting again for a basket of bread or something, and it taking a long time for everything. This was so fast. And some of the best seafood I have had in a long time. The dining area was very clean and bright but not overwhelmingly bright. I like being able to see the food I'm eating. Clean and comfortable. Can seat a lot of people. Beverages were self serve. I saw at the table next to me someone had a bowl of chowder and it was a big bowl and looked great. A lot of places, the "bowl" of chowder is pretty small and overpriced for such a tiny amount. The food was really fresh and delicious. For just over $30, I got a plate of seafood that I definitely would have paid double for in other places I've been. They do take out, call ahead and order there. And sitting there is really nice. We ordered the fish n chips and I would give them 5 stars for freshness but...that's all. The portion of fish was not worth the money. So that why they get 3 stars.They gave us a ton of fries. I thought we ordered fish n chips not chips n fish. That's what they should put on their menu. I felt ripped off. They were really cheap with the fish. Take my warning only order fish. Dont get the chips because they use them as filler. My fish box was very heavy but I was fooled from the weight of all the fries. I will never get fish n chips from here again. If your being cheap with the fish but charging top dollar then just close your business seriously. We got our orders to go so I guess their workers dont care for the Togo orders. They just give you any ol size portions. I'm sick and tired of people in the Worcester area hyping up places and the places lack in quality but want people's hard earned cash. I say that because I work. No collecting unemployment like a lot of ppl who just chillen. Westboylston seafood get your quality control on the right page. Make sure your workers are giving customers good quality size portions. Dont let your workers make your business look bad.i warn you again in this post.IF YOU GET IT TO GO. ONLY BUY THE FRIED FISH DONT GET IT WITH THE CHIPS......!...

Over the past fourteen years, I have taken the opportunity to dine at West Boylston Seafood any time I am in the area. In every visit I have left fully satisfied and with nothing but great experiences.

At one time or another, I have tried almost every item on the menu. My favorites have been the Sea Scallop Plate - both fried and baked, Haddock and Chips, Oyster plate - fried, Fisherman's Platter, and the Fried shrimp plate. All of my dinner plates have come with coleslaw and fries. You can also substitute a salad for both sides for a small additional charge and the salad is large. Portion sizes are always large and I typically eat the entree and pick at the side items.

They do close early at 8 pm most nights so when working late it can sometimes be hard to get here from my office location in Worcester. I have dined here alone, with my wife and with groups from work and there is plenty of room in the dining area which is clean and comfortable.

My only negative would be that I don't get here nearly as often as I would desire but it is a must stop when I am in town. I highly recommend...
