So we decided to try this place after reading all the great reviews.. I got an onion and pepper omelette and the veggies were raw inside the omelette. The waitress didn’t apologize she just blamed the cook. Also, the homefries were not cooked thoroughly, almost as if they ran out and had to rush to cook some more but neglected to cook them all the way. And yet again the waitress said “well people don’t like them mushy”. I’m sorry but they were mushy on the outside and not cooked on the inside and had a weird spice that tasted wierd, not your typical homefries. Coffee was bland. If your looking to have a nice comfortable breakfast with your family, I wouldn’t recommend this place. The table and chairs we sat at I think are meant to be patio furniture. Very uncomfortable, the chair was awful! They had a half “booth” which was a slab of wood with cushion and decorative pillows.. wouldn’t this be hard to keep clean in a restaurant? Weird.. IMO they are trying too hard to be different but it’s just.. NO. The only good thing was the price but as they say.. you get what you pay for.. If you want good food try...

The food was okay and cheap. However, we came in around 10:15am and were rushed from the start. The waitress was so skiddish she was interrupting us while we were ordering and then kept asking later what we said earlier, despite her having a writing pad. They supposedly didn't have ham because they were closing soon, and didn't have lemons for a simple lemon water. Her anxiety was making us anxious as she took our order and it didn't end there. She kept looking over constantly while we were trying to eat and converse and it was off-putting. She came over after only roughly 5 minutes into us eating before she brought the receipt over. After 15 minutes she interrupted our serious conversation for me to go pay ahead of time. I was rushed the entire time and we left by 10:45 as they told everyone they are closing up. My partner was barely able to eat her meal before they asked her if she wanted a box at 10:30. It was a highly off putting experience overall and makes me feel disappointed that we didn't get the experience other customers seemed to get in...

Food was great but the service was awful. I’ve been here 2 times and the first time was great and the server was amazing, the second time going we got another server and the whole time she had an attitude because I asked if I could get 1 egg instead of home fries to which she only responded with “no we can’t do that.” She didn’t check on us once while we ate but I watched her go to her phone multiple times instead, then I heard her talking bad about a customer that had to leave because she refused to make accommodations for their dairy allergy. We then waited 10 minutes after we finished eating to even get the check. No boxes were offered for our leftovers. The whole experience was negative apart from the food. My friend had similar experiences with this particular server and I’m not sure I will ever give my business to this establishment again due to all the straight up bad service which is unfortunate because the other server is lovely and super sweet. I’m not picky with service and have never had an experience...

📍 Location & Atmosphere Salt & Pepper is located at 268 Lincoln St, Worcester, MA 01605. It’s a cozy little diner, perfect for a casual and relaxing brunch. When I visited, it wasn’t very busy, making for a quiet and enjoyable meal. The place was clean and well-kept, with everything tidied up quickly. 🍽️ Food & Drinks I had the Pastrami Benedict, and it was absolutely delicious! The hollandaise sauce was rich and creamy, and there was plenty of smoky pastrami piled on top. The menu offers a great selection of breakfast classics, from fluffy pancakes to homemade corned beef hash. Portions are generous for the price! 👨‍🍳 Service & Hospitality The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick with service. Even with a quiet atmosphere, they kept everything moving efficiently and made sure guests felt welcome. 💡 Unique Selling Point Great portions, homemade flavors, and a laid-back atmosphere. The Pastrami Benedict is a must-try! If you’re looking for a no-frills, satisfying brunch in Worcester, Salt & Pepper is a solid choice.

Really great place with amazing staff. I was constantly checked on and the food was the perfect serving size to get my day started. Would come again and try some of their omelets. Update: Came back again, unfortunately forgot to try the omelets this time, but the food was still great, except for the pancakes which clearly needed some work. They tasted like they had too much flour which took away all the flavor of the syrup on top. Other than that still a great time.

Breakfast was okay. My cofee cup was dirty with a lipstick smudge on it. I asked for white toast and got wheat. (Whatever) The waitress didn't write our order down (which is pretty impressive that everything else was correct) Pancakes and French toast are AMAZING. (I had the Wild Maine Blueberry!) Staff is about as interactive and friendly as brick walls. Place seemed cute at first but is dingy and cheap inside. (Price Rite brand Juice?)
