Eggman's Restaurant Inc — Restaurant in Worth Township

I recently went with my husband because he always wanted to stop there… Even though the parking lot was packed, we did not have to wait to be seated… The staff was pleasant, and nicely decorated for Valentines Day… We sat in the booth seat, but seats where rather close to the table, so if your a “big person” you might have to squeeze in and out… The silverware that was pre-set was used… coffee stains where on napkins, we requested clean silverware with a problem… We started off with cream of chicken soup… The soup was not good… It’s was basically a can of cream of chicken and rice soup… Tasteless, no chicken, over cook bits of rice, and flavorless… I requested a roll, and received a prepackaged, cold and hard roll… I ordered the Broder Skillet with Pancakes My husband had the Seafood Omelette with pancakes…. As we waited for our food… I began to notice that the hot sauce bottle was old because the label was damn near transparent but filled to the rim… Which tells me that the reuse and refill their condiment bottles… The syrup bottle and ketchup was the same… Our food came quickly and was hot… Looking delicious… However it was not… My skillet was flavorless… Not one bit of seasoning was used in preparing the dish… my husband omelette was alright, again flavorless not taste of salt, pepper, nor butter… I never touched the pancakes… But as I always do, I pay, tip and leave… leftover usually ends up in the garbage… But...

This resteraunt gone down hill over the years. Went here for a nice lunch and had a party of 3 ppl. One person had a cheeseburger and fries and ate all the fries and like a bite less then half of the burger only to relize the bread wasnt good. The server she came over to ask whats wrong and we said the bread on the burger was bad so she took the food. She came back 10 min later with the check and no food. We all were puzzeled about the situation so she said everything has to go through her manager 1st. So the manager came over and said sorry but u at almost all the meal and we csnt replace it. The bread is like that because we leave ot outside. WHAT YOU MEAN OUTSIDE?! We leave it outside to stay cold and we dont cook bread on the grill. We only wanted a new buger or a discount on the meal n we got NEITHER. The server then came back n apoligized she said the next time something like that happens to let her know befor had because she been doing it for 8years. If you been doing it that long and u know the outcome why take are food? Why not tell us upfront. This is the worst place for trying to compromise with stuff and this is my last place i...

Seated right away. I've driven by for more than 20 yrs and finally stopped in today. Eggs are in the name so I had high expectations. I ordered a corned beef omlette and wondered, where is the beef? The eggs were overcooked. No seriously, they came to the table BROWN. Just like the potatoes. Brown. I saw no corned beef. I asked the waitress if they forgot it. She sent it back and the next one was identical! She said she didn't know what happened because usually the corned beef was "red". No taste, no flavor. Just overcooked eggs rolled omlette style. I got juice in a bottle and should have drank from the bottle because that plastic "glass" distorted the taste. The eating utensils were clean but so over washed in the dishwasher they were dull and had a tin taste. The waitress was nice. I should have accepted her offer of soup instead. Maybe the lunch servings are better?? I felt sorry for her having to serve that food. Don't go to this place unless quality food is NOT important to you. I don't...
