If I can give it 0 stars I would, but because of the impeccable work of Kahdejah & Andrea you get 4 stars .
Today I stopped by the pharmacy.. This was 5-10 minutes prior to them closing (pharmacy). Placed my keys on the counter to pull out my Id and insurance. Note I did NOT pick my keys up before leaving. Stepped to the front to pay some other things. Upon leaving I was like damn my keys I left them on the counter. Go back and the pharmacy was closed. So I tell the staff like hey I left my keys in the counter. Pharmacy tech assured me no keys were on the counter prior to closing the gate. So I retraced my steps, no keys to be found. I was going crazy. Manager Kahdejah retraced my step with me a couple times, because 2 set of eyes are better than one. Let me just say she went above and beyond .. She was on her knees helping me look. Her and manager Andrea did not stop until found. Andrea ended up finding a tiny end of my green house key sticking out from the pharmacy gate. With that being said she did let me know both her and Kahdejah are not licensed and can not open the gate. Next option was to call the Gm Patrick Robinson. This general manager lives right around the corner and they thought heās license and can open the gate so the decide to call him. Through that conversation between Andrea and Patrick, she explained to him that I do not live in the area and Iām injured. He basically showed not type of remorse or emotion to my situation. He told her he canāt and will not do anything until Monday 9am. Keep in mind my car keys and house keys are attached to this chain. Andrea got off the phone and relayed the message over. So I nicely told her, I do not have a way to get home, I will not leave without my car ( note I live in the Marquette park area, aside from that I have an injured leg and it was 90 degrees outside) This by far was the worse customer service experience Iāve ever dealt with, in reference to how the Gm handled this situation. A huge shout out to Kahdejah and Andrea for living up to Walgreens standards. Patrick Robinson please take some notes from your amazing management staff and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI will be calling corporate as well about this location is, I was shoving, I went to the pharmacy which took forever to get a an over-the-counter product, then on the way out who was approached by ā the store manager or associate portrayed herself as also the side, top-flight security, she thought; as she approached me, she began to unzip my bag and accuse me of stealing items that she was in zipping my bag. I told her not to touch me, and that I would unzip my bag and show her myself. She proceeded to notice that there is nothing in my bag, and while being embarrassed by everybody, standing in line watching told me that I had handed my ā thugā boyfriend, who happens to be African-American, who was in the store solely to let me know our Uber was running low on time. Not only did she embarrass herself she attempted to embarrass me, while snatching the bag of items I have bought from the pharmacy as if she was going to take them like they were stolen. When I called up there after leaving, she claims her employee at the pharmacy. It sold me the wrong item, and then it was valued at $50 instead of 3.22. And asked if I would bring it back. This place is a joke and judging from the other reviews, itās not the first time some racist or a slightly racist and poor judgment has been made with that being said, I will not be going back to that Walgreens, unless it is to get it, her name there is that completely different approach that couldāve been taken if she has suspicion of me stealing, but I donāt know how I could be accused of stealing when I was still back by the pharmacy and only had that item that I just bought from the pharmacy there she broke the rules of touching me and my personal belongings, then shouting due to her own embarrassment. If anybody knows the actual manager there, please...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis Walgreens is horrible. I also intend to call their corporate customer service line. For example (and this is one of many), yesterday I went to get ear drops. The pharmacist was so rude. I walked up to her window to ask her a question and she didn't even acknowledge I was standing there then started talking to me while looking the other way with her head down...I didn't even realize she was talking to me. Also, she let an employee know (right in front of me) "not to worry about it - I am your only boss this is my pharmacy" in regards to an upset customer. Completely unprofessional. The staff always looks very un-kept and they are very rude. I left there yesterday w/out picking up my prescription and had everything transferred my children and my own information over the Jewel on 120th and Pulaski. They are much nicer and cheaper. Plus their hours are better. When I was in line at Jewel waiting to give them my info another lady in line was sharing HER story of this Walgreens and it was pretty similar to mine. They are known in the neighborhood...
