Michael's Pancake House — Restaurant in Worth Township

This is a quality, simple nondescript diner style restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch. I originally started coming in for breakfast. I enjoyed my meals and was able to take some home with a full stomache and have a second meal or snack for later. I then decided to try their takeout options for lunch and was very pleased with the portions, tastes great and everything is fresh, entree, sides, veggies all of good quality. I was getting their club sandwiches for a while but then tried their hamburger and $11 for a nice sized burger, tasty fries, coleslaw and homemade soup is a great price point that keeps me coming back to support them. The waitresses are nice, even if you are just picking up an order. Plus it is well kept, there is a woman always working hard to keep the place clean when I stop in. No complaints. Definitely try...

Waitresses are fast, friendly and accomodating. I ordered chorizo/egg burrito - it was the greasiest thing I've ever eaten, orange liquid running down my arm while trying to eat it. I let the grease drain on a large napkin, and sopped it up with another. And used another large napkin to pat down more grease. One big orange, oily mess. Couldn't even eat half of it. Asked for a tortilla to go, so I could toss the orange greasy tortilla and put leftovers in the new one. UPDATE: Went back to give place a second chance ~ what a difference! Got same burrito, not a drop of grease flowing...

Food is always good. Service is prompt and friendly. There is never a very long wait for food either. I've always tried the breakfast items but today i tried the Malibu chicken sandwich. It was delicious. Im always skeptical about restaurants that have huge menus with a wide range of dishes, but this restaurant does not disappoint. The portions are also pretty decent for the very fair price. My wife and i spent $32 and ordered two sandwiches, two sides a piece, as well as beverages. Still had to take home a box. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a family friendly diner experience where you get a bang...
