Got the special, worth the wait! I mean it.
So Faire, (Fa-ree) is a one man stop shop! He may look intimidating but has a very kind demeanor. He does clarify with his customers. He was very organized and clean, had previous experiences from the Middle East on the wall. I like orange interior decorations.
Had lunch with the buds, no fountain drinks here folks. But he does offer some cold Pepsi products and other items.
It almost took 30 minutes tp an hour, but it was lunch time, and the sign you see explains why it worth the wait ;)
Food: So got the special! Damn it was alot, and I am happy about the serving size gor the price. The rice, I kept going back, I ate it all! The chickpeas, I think, were super soft to chew almost baked bean like. The salad was refreshing and the tomatoes help cleanse your palate. The tazitiki sauce was delicious, kinda like "ranch" and the green sauce was similar to like a green "verde". Very balance sealed and best part was served with naan/pita bread, which tasted so good when you put everything on.
The Lt had a Gyro was huge for a gyro...I was jealous, he recommended it and stated it was defintely better than the food truck on base...sorry guys.
It may look pack, but he serve his good fast and extremely fresh!
Warning: He only accepts the following payments and has a QR code ready for ypu to pay.

Read moreI would really want to love this place but the critiques outweigh the positives. To start, the positives are the food is worth the price of the plate! With the protein (lamb or chicken), rice, chickpeas and salad. If you're lucky to get a plate, the food is incredible and definitely made with love. However the negatives, but serves as constructive criticism, hold this place back so much. The inability to use online ordering (such as seamless, door dash) dates this restaurant to the 90's. No credit card use, strictly accepts cash (ATM in house). Certain plates can be sold out in a hour from opening the door (lamb). The phone is answered by one guy, great guy, but if you're like even 10mins late to pick up your plate - he may "sell that plate" to someone else. It's concerning since this restaurant argumentatively is a monolopy given Afgan food isn't sold on every corner giving plenty of opportunities to make money in here. If the owner simply got with the times in today's America using e-commerce to do business, it would be a easier and more...
Read moreI went to grab lunch from somewhere a little different than a chain resfurant only to be blown away by the customer service food. I ordered the chicken kabob lunch meal with a drink. I have been two thebmiddle east a few times and ate many versions of middleastern cruisine and when i tell you that the chicken kabobs were nothing short of amazing. Not include the chickpea side that was delicous as well. The Taziki's sauce and cilantro sauces were home made and some of the best i have eaten. After i recieved my food I sweat when i eat food thatvhas any spice, however i really enjoy spicy food so the owner moved a fan to ensure air was hitting me to make me confortable. Then on top of all the food she told me the story about how she worked for the US Air Force during the wars and was stuck in Afghanistan for months while the us wouldnt help her come home even though she was an American citizen. The owner is nothing short ogmf amazing and sweet....
