Before I write this review, it's important to explain briefly the importance of customer service and how it leaves a lasting impression on a customer's mind. Customer service is such an important factor, especially in industries like the food service, retail, and hospitality industries. Whether it's something simple as a customer picking up a takeout order or someone dining in, it's important to exhibit great customer service in every customer interaction, even if it's a brief visit. With all that said, this silver mine location really blew me away with their superb customer service when I was picking up a recent order. For what it's worth, this is the only silver mine location in town I've frequented because it's close to my house, and I've picked up food here numerous times. The aforementioned recent time I picked up food here was just great. It was a great atmosphere, and I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Each employee I talked to during my visit was really friendly and welcoming. I was basically in and out because it didn't take long to make my sandwich. If you don't offer the full menu from open to close then make sure your website states that information. Also, the store should be able to edit any order. I placed an order at 2:45am on 10-12-19 and got a call from Dillon that they didn't have steamed veggies for two of the sandwiches since it was five minutes to close to which it wasn't that time yet. So I told him to cancel one of the sandwiches then he informed me that since I placed the order online that he can't cancel one item but could cancel the whole order and then I would place it again or choose a different sandwich. He also said he could microwave the veggies but it wouldn't be the same. So i took his word and chose not to do that either. I chose a sandwich based on the ingredients & how it was cooked and since I couldn't have that then I just would go without but move forward with the remainder order but was unable to do so. First time experience and was not disappointed! I had worked a 12 hour shift, then rushed to Bible study. Halfway through, my stomach reminded me that I hadn't eaten all day. It was late and I was searching for something quick and healthier than the typical fried or mystery meat fast food options. Silver mine was close and the menu looked promising. Upon arrival, Sam was very friendly and welcoming despite it being late in the evening. He was incredibly knowledgeable about their menu options and their health conscious choices. He was able to maintain pleasant conversation while staying on task and I received my food faster than I would've in a drive thru. The establishment was clean and well maintained as were the employees.
