I rated this with a 3 for several reasons. I moved to Cheyenne from a small town in Louisiana where Sonic was the go to place in our community. (There was literally nothing here, it took us an hour to get to Walmart) sonic was even my first job! When I got here and wanted to be reminded of home I’d go by sonic but... there’s been times it’s taken me 30 minutes to get a drink which ok, I can get over. I just make sure I’m not in a hurry when I stop. They’re not very flexible about customizing orders. I always like to order bbq sauce on my burgers but they won’t do that here, once again, something I can get over. The one major concern I have is how dirty the carhops look in the afternoons to the point I can’t tell when they washed their clothes last. Has it been a month? I can’t tell (yikes) which makes me worry about if they’re making sure the cooks are being clean..
Now for the actual compliment part.. ive noticed in the evenings the carhops look a lot more professional and they’re a lot quicker with their deliveries. I’m so much more impressed with the night shift than the afternoon shift. They have their orders out in a flash and they look so professional. I mean so impressed that I called the manager just to let her know how much I appreciate the employees jumping up and not only taking the initiative to be well dressed but have their orders out in a flash.
I entirely recommend if you want good service hit them up in the EARLY mornings, they might be kinda slow but it’s because they’re lagging on staff during this time OR in the evenings when staff is super quick, friendly and dressed professionally.
If you can’t tell I come here a lot to the point I’ve been able to notice...
Read moreThis is my second visit to this location. I had read previous reviews about this location specifically and chose not to believe them. First the food, it was the only shining point of my visit. When I first arrived I chose to order through the stall. I pressed the red button and was assured id be help soon. Meanwhile I kept seeing the drive thru cycling regularly. After 10 minutes of waiting at the stall the screen reset and I was left to believe that nobody was responding. So at that point I opted for the drive thru. I pulled up to the speaker.... And waited again. After 3 minutes I was finally acknowledged and asked to wait again. I agreed having already spending 15-20 minutes waiting without even placing an order. Another few minutes later my order was taken and my total was given. I pulled around to see 2 cars ahead. 2 not 10. Why was the wait so long? So I thought it was a staffing issue and waited again. The 2 cars moved on after getting their food and I pull up to the window. After looking inside the staffing theory was disproven. 3, again 3 employees just standing there. I paid for my meals and left. The service is terrible at this location and the management is either not present or totally inept. I'm sorry Sonic, but this location is a lost cause. Perhaps the Del range location is even a little interested in serving customers in even a remotely timely fashion. I won't be returning to the South Greeley location until...
Read moreI was passing through on a road trip and ordered in the app. Once I arrived I was told they couldn’t do my three orders of popcorn chicken and could only replace it with chicken sandwiches. When I asked for beef instead, I was told they couldn’t do that because beef costs more. When I asked to cancel the order I was told I would have to call corporate Sonic, which I did not have time for. I finally agreed to the chicken sandwiches (even though none of us wanted them), to not waste any more time.
I’m not an entitled person, but I’ve worked in customer service and believe in going the extra mile, especially when the situation is no fault of the customer’s. Instead of making any kind of adjustment in my favor, I ended up with sandwiches that cost less than what I ordered and when my food was brought out I had to ask for the drinks I had ordered. I assume it was a manager I was talking to and he looked at me as if I was lying about having ordered drinks. He went back in to get them, then looked frustrated when I asked for a straw, which he went back in to get. The bottom line for me in any service industry is customer service. This location is...
