McDonald's — Restaurant in Wysox Township

Your teenage employees need to not treat people like they’re dumb. Nearly every morning I stop on my way to work, I order my mobile curbside order before leaving my house, and it is almost ALWAYS the same order. I still manage to wait over 15-20 minutes and still end up having to go inside. Multiple times when doing in to get my order, it’s just been sitting in the bagging area while others are standing there talking. I’ve been told “We didn’t see it done” “We didn’t know to bring it out” I’m on conference calls nearly every morning, I choose curbside so those aren’t affected, but if the only way to get my food in a timely manner is drive through, then that’s a little upsetting. This morning, I went in and explained I was waiting for a certain time period, and the young girl on the front counter, attempted to argue with me on how I made my order, I explained how I make this order every day, and I was willing to show her my phone screen to show her, I was in fact waiting on curbside and chose Spot 1, In the parking lot. I’ve worked for McDonald’s and only left to take on a more promising career path, and I understand things get busy and when you have downtime, you want to converse. However, time management is sub par, and to become argumentative when the customer isn’t, I simply went in and wanted to know where my order was nearly a half hour later. From having my hot coffee dumped on my by the staff, half my order, or even just the issue this morning, this can’t just be...

I really did try to find good reasons to give this a high rating, but I could not. I've eaten inside here at least 20 times with many more using the drive-thru. About 50% of the time the food is hot and how it should be. Other times, it's cold, sloppy, or assembled without care. McDonald's hamburger and fries are the signatures of the company but are typically a letdown at this location. I can think of perhaps 2 times in the past year I've had my food delivered promptly after ordering. (Less than 6 minutes) typically there is a 15-20 minute wait inside, for me at least. Today from order to delivery at the table was 25 minutes. The excuse was "we are busy". Weirdly, there are only 3 people inside. I suppose the drive-thru takes priority and not order of serving?

The drive-thru is hit or miss. I've seen cars go through speedy, but other times it will be backed up out to the road. It's a shame. It's a great location with lots of traffic passing through. It just seems quality control and proper managing skills are absent. I remember myself working for fast food chains many years ago. Our standard was 4 minutes from order to delivery. Floors and tables got cleaned at least every hour at a minimum, and we got reprimanded for horsing around in the back with customers up front. (I see that a lot here)

Overall. It's McDonald's, so you know the food to expect. Prepare to wait for your food though, and hope it...

Not your typical McDonald's here. If you are dining at the establishment then definitely stop, however, if you're in a rush, are running late,or only have a few minutes, DO NOT GO THROUGH THE DRIVE THRU!!!!!!!! It is well known around the locals on how long the wait is for here so I'll explain. My best friend and I ordered 2 mcdoubles a 10 piece nugget, a McChicken and a large fry...no drinks.. so we sat n waited to pull up and the wait just to pay was 8 minutes not even kidding. Then after we payed when we got to the window they only had the 10 piece done...NOTHING ELSE!!!!! And that was after waiting over 15 mins from our order placing time. We were asked to pull up as was at least 8 other cars and we sat for an additional 25 mins!!!!! Almost an hour for very simple things and I'm sure you're thinking well it's lunch or dinner time right ...well I wish you were right ..it was at 130 in the afternoon and the dining room was empty. I went in without the staff knowing and placed 3 orders which were filled within minutes of different items and waited a total of maybe 5 minutes total for the 3 together but drive thru waits almost an hour for a few extra things?!?!!? The staff is far too young and this will sound wierd but also of they're not teeny boppers they are senior citizens keeping busy working there which the seniors are running circles around the youngins. The foods good as long as you have...
