First, there aren't many options in this town. So after a Google search of restaurants near me this is the place that came up. Based on the photos it looked like a clean down home kind of place to have lunch. Upon entering the restaurant it was clean, not busy, and the air conditioning definitely worked. We were promptly greeted and our drinks came quickly. It was my sister and i, and we both ordered the beer battered fish basket. Our server Jay H was super friendly and super fast. But when our food came the disappointment sat in. Our fish was overcooked so the breading was really hard, and there was barely any fish inside. The french fries were soft and greasy. Read moreMy line crew came in to eat breakfast today as we are far from home restoring power in your area. I seated myself at a table as I waited for my coworker. Not only did the Waitress not ask me if I wanted coffee or anything as she flitted around waited on everybody around me, she took my silverware just assuming nobody else was coming. It was really kind of awkward sitting there waiting for my coworker to show up watching this woman go around completely ignoring the fact that I am sitting there. Finally my coworker shows up, And she comes over and asks us what we want to drink. He ordered a water I ordered a coffee which came out in the most disgusting cup I have ever seen in a restaurant.
