This was such a train wreck! Stopped here to eat dinner a week or so ago. Walked in and was greeted by a lovely host & our waitress. We ordered a couple cocktails to start the night (a long island iced tea and a menu feature drink) .... we then ordered our meal. My other half's choice was a chicken parm and I ordered the jerk pork. While waiting for our meal I noticed, 1 other table came in, but the rest of the house was empty (that should have been our first clue). Next, there are towels laid down on ALL the booths, that is tacky and reminded me of a nudist colony restaurant. About 15 minutes later, my husbands drink came, but mine did not. The bar tender refused to make it, and was making our poor waitress distressed. Another lady came out because she was CONFUSED about the drink that was pictured in the menu. I said listen, do this one then .... 2 shots black cherry rum, half lemonade, half sprite .... she left to go tell the bar tender. In the mean time our food showed up. The chicken parm was burnt on the bottom, no flavor of the sauce. My jerk pork was cold and bland. No drinks came out, it was as if the bar tender wanted to make a disaster of the poor waitress. Needless to say, the waitress got a good tip from us, despite the horrible bar tender, and food! We will never...
Read moreWith all the hype from their fb page, I was excited to try Wildfire. The description or the food, and prices had us thinking we were in for an expensive, buy well worth the price dinner. When our mismatched, very well used, yard sale silverware, (which included a toddler fork) was brought to our table In a dirty, white cheap plastic basket I started to worry. I got the fish taco Flatbread that was topped with shrimp and fish as well as vegetable toppings. The fish was so overcooked it was dry and turned into almost a coarse powder, and the tiny shrimp were definitely from a can. My wife ordered alfredo, which cost $6 extra to add a small amount of bland, dry and still cold chicken. No one in our party of 6 enjoyed their food even though we should have devoured it considering how long it took to be served. Our 2 teenage girls decided that they would try the smores for desert. The waitress brought non working sterno type cookers, before finally finding the forth unit which sort of worked. It had a flame, a strong dark smoke, which made the marshmallows taste like the exhaust from a dump truck. Wash all that down with a $10 single shot, small, dirty glass captain and coke and you'll have had one of the worst meals, and dining experiences in the area, and you'll get to do it all for a...
Read moreUnder new ownership the menu has nothing good on it. Being seated in the lounge/bar area to eat dinner with your wife isn't the way I like to eat dinner. The Riverstone use to have the best wings, I didnt even see wings on the new menu so I got the salad, prime rib, Ruben egg rolls and Coleslaw. Salad was small, prime rib was ok, I'm more of a NY Strip or sirloin guy but they weren't on the menu. Ruben egg rolls weren't good the sauerkraut was bland it didn't have that sour acidic bite that good sauerkraut has and the dressing didn't taste like thousand island dressing, it was very strong tasting. The Coleslaw was the worst tasting Coleslaw I ever had I couldn't even eat it. Wife had Chicken Alfredo it was ok. It's not very creamy or seasoned well. We won't be going back...
