The Community Cup Coffee & Tea House — Restaurant in Towanda

This is my favorite spot in town.

I try to stop-in a few times a week. I just love the atmosphere. It's comfortable, casual, and makes you forget that you're right on Main Street. You can sit and chat with friends or use the WIFI to get some work done. But the thing I love most is how they support the community. Besides offering a great gathering place, the walls are plastered with local art, and they feature displays of local pottery (coffee mugs) that you can purchase. The Cup hosts occasional events from live music to "story time" for kids. They've done an exceptional job of creating a special gathering place in our small town.

Community Cup offers a variety of food and drink options. Everything from baked goods and tea, to sandwiches and soups (in the cooler months). I've come to love mixing my own iced tea flavors. Rasberry Mojito is currently my favorite. I try to stop-in twice a week, if not more. It's always clean and the baristas are incredibly friendly.

Very cool little coffee shop-- best coffee in Towanda area for sure. They have baked goods every day that are WONDERFUL and their salads are by far the best in town that I have tried. Quality ingredients and very fresh. I haven't tried anything there that hasn't been good and they try to keep their menu creative. They offer all types of coffee drinks and many many flavors. They will even let you use your own travel coffee mug if you're trying to be eco-conscious. I wish they were open on Saturdays because I'd love to go there on the weekend but...

I took a date here one time. I bought her a cup of Ethiopian house blend. I remember there were lots of photos of Lady Gaga and Jim Morrison and Jimi Hendrix and other 60s people on the wall. The girl liked it and so did I. I never ate food here, but I was unhappy about the lame kids play area in the back. This place is frequented by local elite (me) and lawyers from the courthouse.
