Devil Wind Brewing — Restaurant in Xenia

Stopped in with my wife at around 2:15 Sat. The 6th if April. We are pretty hardcore beer nerds and have been to many, many breweries.

Perhaps 10 people in the entire serving area and we had seats available at the bar. Sat down and that was it. No hello, no what would you like, no go to hell, nothing. Lady behind the bar served a couple others, filled a growler, still nothing.

After about 5 mins. A guy walks in goes up to the bar and was served immediately. Finally she walks back towards us and I thought finally. But no she began to clean. Never made eye contact, never spoke, it's like we weren't even there.

Not begging anyone to take my money so we left. Six three, 290 and bald so it's unlikely that they never saw us sitting at the bar.

Great place!! The guys there are awesome, with the owners or brewmasters manning the taps (I believe 14 selections). The beers are wonderful, from the IPAs to the wheat, the lager and the oatmeal stout. They also have other local brewery's selections on tap, including a selection of ciders (I really like the peach). And they frequently try different infusions in the beers, like coffee or watermelon, chilis or citrus.

They don't serve food, but you are welcome to carry in your own and there is a good selection of food trucks. I believe there's a schedule on their website.

There's a fun, casual, friendly atmosphere with video games and darts, trivia on Thursdays, and live bands. It's right on the bike path through downtown Xenia, and there are bike racks out front.

One of my favorite spots! This place gets better & better each year! They have a large patio space & recently this year made more space on the inside as well! It’s such a cozy atmosphere & the employees are always welcoming & polite. They have trivia night which is a great time along with other events & live music at times. I went to Octoberfest for the first time this year & I will be participating each year, it was so much fun. This place never...
