We went last night (a friday night) for the first time for my fiances nephews birthday. Our experience was horrible. The table we were sat at was right in the middle of the aisle way and all of the servers were running past us like crazy and bumped into my fiances shoulder multiple times. We were asked for drinks in a very rushed manner by 2 different servers so we could tell there was no organization. We could tell they were very understaffed (i think we saw maybe 4 servers) and tried to be understanding but our server was rude. He was obviously rushing us to order. Never asked us how anything was. His nephew asked for sour cream when eye contact was made just to be completely ignored. And my fiance had to get up go to the bar and get it. Our food was brought out one plate at a time. I was served last and everyone elses food got cold bc they insisted to wait on mine to arrive. The party of 8 next to us ordered after us but got their food before us. I am 7& a half months pregnant and i was trying to walk to the bathroom and had to stop in my tracks multiple times because of them just running right in front of me. We ordered his nephews birthday dessert for him bc he was ignored already. Brought the check, no dessert. Had to ask a second time. No apology! I am a waitess and so i tried to be understanding that theyre busy and understaffed. But i give great service even if i am busy, and would never make my customers feel rushed and unvalued. $4 on our 50$ bill was generous. And that was only for making sure my beans were put on the side. I wasnt going to leave a review at all, but my fiance has been up all night with food poisoning and we're very upset. Not fair that we spent our hard earned money to get horrible service and food poisoning!!! We...

Yes, they were busy.
Were they so busy that at no time during the hour we were there that they couldn’t bring us our requested water?
No.
Were they so busy that the servers had to sprint around until they were sweaty?
No.
We were seated in the back by the kitchen and directly across from a corner stand that had supplies for the servers. I never saw one getting anything from that stand, but they did grab it as they rushed out from the kitchen and tried to make the corner without falling! One (male) server in particular rushed around so quickly that his shoes repeatedly made a squeaking sound as he squealed around that corner! He was always delivering food and we soon became anxious, thinking that he was going to stumble and the dishes were going to go flying through the air and land on us. Luckily that didn't happen, but it sure put a damper on our conversation with our friends!
Despite the frenetic servers, our own meals were delivered in dribs and drabs, with the last person being served at least ten minutes after the first. If you look at the pictures, you'll see meals cooling while waiting for others to be served.
We met our friends there hoping for not only a tasty meal, but to enjoy socializing with them,...unfortunately, the atmosphere made that nearly impossible! If the owners want return customers they need to address these issues.
p.s. We never got the water we repeatedly requested throughout the meal. However, they certainly had time to ask us repeatedly if we wanted more margaritas. Hunh.
I will readily admit, however, that the food was very tasty--especially the...
Read moreI am being generous to give two stars. 5 in our party & included 2 children & 2 seniors (one is 96). We arrived about 7:30 p.m. The waitress pushed for our drink orders before we got seated then hovered over us asking for our meal orders. I was flustered and said I couldn't remember what I'd gotten in the past but it started with 'Acapulco'. Waitress firmly took a menu page from my hand and rapped her pen on an item. I quickly ordered 2 for dad & I even though I doubted it was what we wanted. We asked for extra napkins. Got 0 on 1st request, 2 on my 2nd try & 2 on 3rd request. We were about half through our meal when they began shutting off lights in surrounding areas. Then chairs all around us were put on tables and sweeping done right up to our table. Their close time was 9:30 but the bum's rush actually began when we walked in. Other employees had been watching a game, loudly, in another room so maybe they had plans. If so, they should have posted an early closing instead of the flagrant rudeness we experienced. We have frequented the establishment for some time. Tonight my bill as just shy of $60. They've lost myself, my daughter's family and my granddaughter's family. None of us will be returning but judging by their behavior tonight, they won't care. I left no tip. We were out their door by 9:05. They didn't thank us or anything. So long Acapulco. You were getting way too...
