Maggie Mae's — Restaurant in Yarmouth

Charged my GF well over $50 plus tax for two small sized jars of kimchi, a tiny jar of goat cheese, and a cookie. The older gentleman working there didn't seem too friendly towards my GF, was rude and very standoffish, clearly racist as she's Chinese - so charged her over $50 for four items. Even in an expensive, specialty shop, this tab should not have come to much over $30.

Shame on you. If I travel by when you're open, I'll be happy to come inside and tell you this to your face. Can't believe you took advantage of her like that. See photo I took when I got home from work.

Dishonest, cold, and racist is no way to operate a business.

Maggie Mae's provided us with all of the delicious food for our parents' 60th anniversary celebration at a nearby beach. The platters were so beautiful, all was delicious, everyone loved it. Kate and John clearly took care with all of the details and cared a lot about having everything be fresh, temptingly displayed, with good variety for the event. Kate listened to me describe our group and our celebration, then was incredibly helpful in steering decisions what would work best and be special for our particular party, which spared me feeling overwhelmed with planning. It was all so relaxed and lovely, and everyone was so happy...

The food is terrific, the prices very reasonable, and the service friendly and responsive. Favorites include the butternut squash soup, sweet potato jambalaya, spicy chicken wrap (had the spinach wrap), and especially the chocolate chip cookies (seriously buttery). The pictures of their pooch, Maggie Mae (yep, they named their place after the pup!) are adorable. Our #2 daughter loves their vegetarian/vegan offerings.
