( 5 stars is the BEST) I decided to treat the family to pizza on Friday. I tried to use Farrelli's website. The ordering process went okay (simple order of two pepperoni, cheese, and Hawaiian) (3 of 5 stars).
When it came to paying for the order came the hassle. I wanted to use four $25 gift cards. It took me an hour and a half to be able to load all four gift cards. After I would get one loaded the only way I could load the next was to refresh the page. After I loaded all of the gift cards in I was unable to select them all to pay for the order that was over $125.00. (1 of 5 stars).
With the hasel of the website I opted to just go and dine-in. Upon arrival the hosted did not have the seating chart up to date and only one family had departed upon our arrival, there was no wait list and at least four empty tables. ( 2 of 5 stars)
Our server was okay at best. (3 of 5 stars)
Noticed the manager on duty. They stopped by and asked if we would like refills on our drinks. Rather than getting the refills themselves, they let our server know about the request, even though he took our glasses. I also noticed that when the manager was on the floor they did move as if they were on a mission and actually moved slower than any of the staff. ( 1 of 5 stars)
We ordered a cheese bread sticks as an appetizer. They came about five minutes before the meal. How is this an appetizer? The order consisted of a pepperoni and a cheese pizza (both 16 inches). Found all three items to be rather tastelss. Also, it was very noticeable that the pizzas were not rotated while cooking thus leaving a quarter of each item being over cooked. The pepperoni was the worst off with both the edge and underside being burned black and leaving the burnt after taste in my mouth. (1 of 5 stars)
This will be the last choice for pizza night, right behind Wal-mart...
Read moreI am so disappointed and angry at this place. Living in yelm means few options for good, reliable food. So when ferrellis came here, we were all over it. We dined in twice in two weeks and we’re very happy with the food and satisfied with the service,( still working out their kinks). So we decided to have curb side service for friends and family on Saturday. I ordered thru the app and food will be ready in fifty minutes. At one hour I called from my curbside spot and was told It would be 30 more minutes. Not happy, I waited 20 minutes and then went it to ask about my order. Sorry sir, it will be twenty mor minutes. I came in twenty minutes later and demanded my money back. After asking four times to speak to the manager, she came out and she was sorry but my food was almost ready. Fifteen more minutes later my pizza came out. Got it home and the pizza was INEDIBLE!!!!! Those pizzas were burnt and rock hard. I mean worse than shoe leather. ( like it sat under a heat lamp for two hours) which is when I should have gotten my food!!!!!!!! There is absolutely no way that was fresh but for the life of me; why the heck did wait two hours to give it to me. Sucks for the family gathering that tried to knaw on the cardboard we fed them. This is so...
Read moreWe recently went in with a group. Our subgroup was never offered menus, napkins, etc, and had to track them down ourselves. We did not get our pizzas until most of the rest of the group had eaten and was ready to go, and the server just said they had a bunch of online orders come in and that was why. Then she informed us also that because we were with a group, 18% gratuity would be added to our bill. (Why would online orders take priority over an in-person group that has to pay gratuity?) Well, that would have been fine if the service wouldn't have been so poor. She didn't remember to bring my husband's drink (a soda) out until 20 minutes after I got mine (a lemonade), seemed to pretend not to hear me when I asked for a refill (which I never got), our bill was well over $100 for two pizzas, an appetizer, and two drinks. In summary, go to Varsity Pizza for pizza that tastes great, and is served up in a timely manner by friendly servers that you want to leave a tip for. Farellis left us completely uninpressed the two times we have been there, and I doubt we...
