Lynn Tea - Boba — Restaurant in Yorba Linda

Super friendly and nice service. Ordered an array of drinks for myself and kids- classic milk tea, mango yogurt slush, strawberry slush and green Thai tea with cheese foam. Loved their treats- we tried the waffle and Portuguese egg tarts. FYI- you can only purchase 2 tarts, they don’t sell individually. Going off prior reviews, it’s true they use powders and their drinks are sweet. Slush reminds me of like a slurpee type of consistency. You can customize it, However, and the person taking my order definitely took his time to ensure customers got their order correct with level of sweetness, size of their drink and if any toppings. I do have to say make sure you’re patient because it took a long time just to order and then receive the food/drinks. Plus you got grandma in the back making the drinks LOL. After lunch, we all agreed a milk tea with boba would satisfy that craving for something sweet. After a brief search, we found and made our way to Lynn Tea.

It's a typical tea spot with lots of offerings. I settled on the roasted oolong milk tea, no special requests and found myself with good milk tea. Not too sweet. Not overly milky. Good oolong flavor. Not as toasty as I like it, but enough to satisfy that sweet craving I had.

One of my friends had an issue with their order, but the staff fixed it without issue. However, when they gave him the tea, they didn't add boba. They were busy and seemed to be training new staff, so instead of waiting again, he took it and drank it as is.

First time trying Boba. We went in and asked for a recommendation, most popular? The staff was so nice & helpful. We didnt know anything about the variety of teas they offer. They kindly handed over 3 samples for us to try. Taro, Thai & Classic Milk tea. We ended up with Classic Milk with honey & Vanilla. Both very good!
