Arby's — Restaurant in York Township

Stopped in to get myself a wagyu burger. It tasted lackluster and dry as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for an extended period of time. It certainly was not made to order because it was prepared in less than 2 minutes. I was totally disgusted with the lack of cleanliness in this food establishment. And if they can't keep the restaurant clean, one can readily suspect the safety of the food. Filthy soda pop and iced tea dispenser areas. Same at condiments area. The booth upholstery is torn and stained. Multiple tables are dirty even though employees seem to have plenty of time to engage in loud, idle chit chat in the kitchen that can clearly be heard out in the dining room. The floors and window frames are filthy including dead bugs. There is a broken, exposed and readily accessible electrical device on the wall in a seating booth. Also trash...

We pulled into this Arby’s at 9:59pm, not knowing that they closed at 10pm. We were leaving for a eight hour road trip, not arriving until 6am, and hadn’t had dinner. Not only did Vanessa pleasantly take our order in the drive-through, but she was so very nice and greeted us with a smile at the window. The manager, Michael, then came over and thanked us for our business. We asked if they were closing and he said yes, but we are just making your food fresh!! We chatted and told them we were leaving for a long road trip and they not only provided us with a drink carrier, but also gave us a container for our ketchup! These people should have been closing up, but instead treated us with the kindest and best customer service imaginable! It's Arby's, what more can I say about the Roast-beef centered fast food institution. The food is good and the girl at the counter did take both coupons I had with me to get a cheaper meal for two plus a free desert. Everything was received in a timely fashion. However, with the meal deal and desert it was a bit too much to eat while in the restaurant so I opted to take the desert home with me. I went to the country just to get a bag and stood there for over 5 minutes with the girl not turning around once to see if anybody was standing at the counter. She was more interested in watching the food order screen than paying attention to customers at the counter.
