Andy's Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Youngsville

I've stopped at this place 3 times already. When I pulled into the driveway of store I can see all the employees standing there talking and eating something behind counter. Outside looks clean but the drive thru is a little confusing. I've gone into the parking lot dead end twice. I don't really like how the menu is set up with no speaker. I have to try to remember what it is I read and wanted. In the end I just order the same thing. 2nd time I went the brownies taste old and the ice cream was tiny in portions. The 3rd time the brownie were fresh but I only got 1 little piece. The ice cream was small in portions, but still better then tiny. I also didn't get the cherry it said it came with. Overall, I won't rule this place out yet. It was a hit and miss day. The 3rd time although the portions was small. It tasted good.

Edit: I've been back twice. On the 1st visit back I ordered the brownie Sundae but ask if the brownie can be put on the side instead of in the Sundae. I paid 12 something. I was a bit taken back but wasn't sure of the price these days. My son convinced me to go with him so the 2nd time back I ask the cashier how much the brownie sundae was. I order waffle cone the two gentleman‘s at the register said they were out. I asked him why he said he don’t know he just say to tell you is it out so I asked my manager they said there was none down and then when I called, she got on the phone and said we don’t give receipts out when you pay by cash in the store is really doing wrong by people. This is my third visit there in a third time I do not get a receipt I ordered a double the last time and I was charge seven dollars and some change and I ask for receipt did not get one is poor service really sad and if that’s your manager that said she was around 730 pm tonight on 9/23/23 she said the morning makes the waffle cones and they didn’t make enough for tonight. I don’t believe that you have a poor manager skills. She really needs to be trained.there was 2 cars that just put up a all the way is causing company money because the employees are do not care about customers are...

Decided to stop here on our way back home, and boy, this was rough for me, unfortunately. I'm not sure if it was just a bad night or whatever the case is.

PROS: The flavor of the shake my fiancé got here was good. However, I had issues with my jackhammer, see below. Pricing was still good for what we got, but that's it.

CONS: Service was rude and terrible. Seemed like they didn't want to be there tonight. They were slow, carefree, and aggravated, it seemed. Sanitation was unsatisfactory. They had dead bugs all over the place, even by the windows where you ordered, and benches weren't wiped down well. The custard that was used in my jackhammer was melted, and brownie bits were very minimal to none.

OVERALL: Dissatisfied. I expected more when coming to this location specifically and was disappointed. The sister location in Lafayette is superior, so we'll be going there only at that location. Youngsville location,...
