Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Youngsville

Probably my worst ever Sonic experience. I don’t usually write reviews but I promise you I will make it my mission to lower your ratings after the service you provided my family today. To begin, we placed an order at 10:05, we got the food at 10:57. I don’t know much about the service industry but I can 100% assure you that it should NOT take that long to receive some fried chicken and burgers. Next, the chicken popcorn portion was so small (specifically a few tiny burnt pieces of chicken between a large and small order of the jumbo popcorn chicken) that my grandfather, who usually eats VERY light, had finished both of the popcorn chickens that we ordered and still wasn’t satisfied. Furthermore, I had ordered enough sauce to feed a family of 6… when I opened my bags I found none. Please train your staff on how to check tickets to make sure you actually have all the food that you ordered. Lastly, something I had known about this specific sonic prior to eating here, but y’all’s staff mark the order as complete as soon as it gets placed, making you think that your food has been delivered to someone else’s car. What made it worse was that when we went to find someone after waiting about 30 mins after the order was marked as complete and having never received it, the staff ignored us and told us to wait. I will be waiting for my refund and in the meanwhile I will be telling everyone I know to avoid this...

I placed a mobile order here on Sunday for 2 double burgers one with fries and one with tots. Before I left the stall I tasted a fry and it was cold, old, and disgusting. I cant begin to understand how this can be the case before 10am on a Sunday. The fries were mine so instead of complaining and having my husband's food get cold while doing so, I left.

Furthermore, I specified no ketchup, mustard, or any other sauce besides mayo. There was absolutely something else put onto both burgers and it had a very bad taste. I picked up the food and drove home before realizing this so we wiped as much as we could off to make them edible.

Unfortunately this is a common occurrence at this particular sonic and I keep swearing I won't go back to this location but then I give them the benefit of the doubt and think it was just a coincidence and it won't be as bad the next time.

The food is expensive for the quality being served. Our total was right under $20 for 2 people. Two combos. Cold fries and some nasty sauce that no one requested on our...

Since this place has opened, service is slow, orders are never right and management doesn't care. I've tried calling the store before to explain my concerns, manager on duty always acts as if they are concerned, but it never gets fixed. Why do I say that? Because, the concern or issue I had, happens the next time I go....weeks even month later.

Recently (23-Jul-21) I used the Sonic app to get me a Large Cherry Limeade slushy at half price. It was one drink....ONE!!! I was 5 minutes away from the location when I placed the order, got to drive-up,checked in and waited....and waited....AND WAITED!!! 23 minutes after I checked in, that's right 23 minutes for one drink after I checked in, my drink was brought out to me. Like, I know there are other customers, I know I wasn't the only one there that day (at 4pm), but it was one Large Drink, not several orders. Why did it take so long.
