KK's Cafe — Restaurant in Youngsville

I went back to eat for breakfast. It was nice. The bacon was crispy and curly but the eggs were a bit oily. The grits we're hot and creamy. Their pancakes are big enough to fill the plate and three stacks high for an order. The biscuits are big and fluffy. You will NOT leave hungry. Spacious inside and there's a couple of tables for outside eating. The wait time for receiving the order and price are reasonable. They give generous military/veterans discount. The waitress was very kind and attentive. I'm raising my rating to 4 stars. I plan to visit again.

Ordered 3 piece white fried chicken and sliders. The chicken was just okay. Not much flavor and a bit dry. They must have ran out of regular wings, so it was substituted for some buffalo style wings. The sliders were good but too much cheddar cheese and their bread is bit sweet. Their fries are a blend of salt and sugar, it's close Wingstop. I never dined in because I ordered through Waitr. Amazing food. I stopped by KK'S to redeem a free Monte Cristo offer. I was greeted by a smiling and courteous hostess and seated immediately at a table with a lovely view. A cheerful waitress greeted me to take my order. I mentioned the free offer and she was happy to oblige. My coffee was served 1st. It was hot and fresh and served in one if the cutest cups I've ever seen. Wasn't long when she delivered the Monte Cristo that came with homemade chips and a side of jam. The presentation was amazing and tasted just as awesome as it looked. I couldn't eat it all so the rest was boxed up for me to enjoy later. The owner came over to my table and we enjoyed a pleasant conversation about KK'S. I checked out the dessert counter as the owner explained what each was and was surprised at the array of scrumptious sweets to choose from. If you've not been you should go! You are totally missing out. Me and my husband have been going here since they opened literally the third day they were open we ate there and have not stopped since!! It's family owned and family run. Husband and wife and son. Who by the way are all absolutely amazing people they make you feel so welcome and they are so warm and friendly such a good atmosphere. I have tried pretty much everything on the menu but my favorite thing is KK's chicken salad sandwich. It is amazing and it comes with their homemade chips and add a side of their French onion dip you won't be disappointed hands down the best chicken salad I've ever had.
