McDonald's — Restaurant in Youngsville

This McDonald’s used to have great service and as a consistent customer for the last 12 years, I never had any problems arise. Until recently. It seems that the experienced customer service oriented workers who would operate the drive-thru, have been replaced with younger, rude and inefficient workers. Every time I have gone through the drive thru for the last five months or so, I give my order and the girl taking my order never seem to be paying attention to what I am saying. I tell her a 6 peice chicken nugget happy meal with a sprite and apple slices, and I am asked “ 4 or 6 peice? What’s the drink? Apple slices or fries?” Multiple times. They seem to hold conversations with other co-workers with their mic on for the intercom while in the middle of customers giving their order as well which adds even more to the frustration of trying to relay an order to them. On top of all of this, every single time I have been to this location in the last five months, my order has been wrong every single time. Whenever I point out the error in the order I am simply told that there is nothing they can do about it and that the item in question was not rung up by the cashier (because she was too busy talking to her coworkers and not paying attention to the order itself), so I will have to go back around in the drive thru to re-order the item. Very disappointed in the decline in customer service at this location and will not be recommending anyone...

I was in town for a travel softball tournament for my daughter. I wound up running out of gas actually and got stuck at this McDonald's for several, several hours. The way this stuff handled my presence was beyond anything I could ever ask for. Miss Connie and Mackenze went out of their way to do everything they could to help me. I forgot to mention that I also did not have a cell phone... It's a long story... Then after being there for several hours I wound up locking my keys in my car so it was one thing after another. They were so kind and very polite and allowed me to use the phone and didn't mind my in and out of their restroom. They checked on me several times to make sure I was okay and to make sure I was making progress on my situation. They were truly amazing people. A lot of the time I spent sitting outside in my car, never once did I hear the person taking orders be rude with a single person. They were supremely professional and completely and totally all the perfection of customer service at its finest. This McDonald's was also very very clean and every staff member that I encountered was almost unbelievably nice and polite. Thank you guys so much for the wonderful experience and I truly believe this is the best McDonald's on the face of the planet! If I am ever in town again, this will be...

As an employee at that McDonald's it was probably the worse experience I ever had being a cook, being treated so wrongly knowing how hard I worked over there just wasn't fair it's no wonder why I had bad things to say now a few managers here and there were cool but this year working there was just not the best choice I made, to know people ACCUSED me of stealing was wrong and had a higher up chastising me over wearing earbuds knowing I'm not distracting or bothering anybody tbh they were looking for attention, well hopefully after they read this review they got my attention! I just can't do fast food jobs anymore at this point because I been done caught a case. The respect level shown to me there could have been a lot better but just glad to say I'm done with that job and fast food jobs ever in the history of me...
