Villager’s Cafe Youngsville — Restaurant in Youngsville

On a Friday Night ( they close at 8pm) we ordered 3 poboys and fries, just regular Turkey and roast beef, nothing special, at 7:40pm. An hour later we got our food, two of the poboys wrong and fries cold! Now since 8pm they were more concerned with locking the door preventing those of us outside from going in until someone else left! After bringing it up about the order we were offered to have it made fresh, again. Now you can imagine why I would ask, how long will it take, it’s been over an hour already! Also not to mention when asked why the phone was busy we were told they were behind on the to go orders so they took the phone off the hook! So at 8:55p we departed with our to-go order! Will NOT be back for a long time because they obviously have issues...

Ordered two whole sandwiches for a pickup order. It cost 35 dollars with the tip, but the kicker was the "delivery fee" on the receipt. I noted that was weird and went home.

Meatball sub: Cheese was on the deli paper. None on the sandwich. I had to pull chunks of fennel out of my teeth... it's all I could taste being there wasn't any cheese. I wish I knew what the marinara tasted like.

Villagers sub: I unwrapped the sandwich for my wife, the entire sandwich looked like someone dropped it in gumbo. It was .. moist.

I called the order in, and left the business less than 15 minutes after the order was placed, so it didn't sit...

Poor customer service.

The food I ordered was made incorrectly. When I brought this to the attention of the young man working at the counter, he told me I had to purchase the food item a second time in order for them to make it how I asked. The menu board behind the counter and the menu that was given to us at the table did not match. I made this known to him and he still told me I had to purchase the food item again.

He did not offer any apology and was not willing to fix the mistake that was made on my sandwich.
