I met two friends, we wanted to find a place we could meet up at once a month. Our waitress was horrible. First she told us about one soup they had. We asked do you have any other soups? She says " no we just have the one, if we had more I would have stood hear and rattled them off" next she gives us bread, we look no butter. No biggie we say could we have butter? She says there is butter in the basket, we say no we don't have any, she says look under the bread so we have to pick up the bread to show her we didn't have bread. Next my friend asked for a ice tea. She put her equal in it, takes a few sips. Doesn't like it. Ask the waitress if she can have a diet soda instead, she doesn't ask if anything wrong just brings her the soda. When she brings the Bill, she charges her for both drinks. When she asked her why her Bill was so much, she says she asked for two drinks, and then stood there and argued with her, and told he she didn't need to be rude. Then days you know what don't pay for either, your free to go. I was sitting there in disbelief. Why would you treat a customer like that over a drink you give free refills on. I'm nit sure why she was so rude to us, wasn't like they had a ton of customers, it was 12:30 in the afternoon and they had about 4 tables. Hmmm I wonder why. I also think she might be the owner, which blows my mind. So moral of the story, guess where we will nit be meeting once a month at. I would rather go sit in the Sheetz parking lot down the street. Too bad because they did have pretty good food. Someone needs to have a customer service class ASAP. I have been in the retail business for over 20 years and never have a seen such poor service. This is the only reason she got an ok tip. Otherwise I might have left nothing. Ill be sure to share with...
Read moreI was visiting the area and was looking for a place to eat by myself. I was pleasantly surprised by how good this place is. The atmosphere is old school and somewhat threadbare…but the salmon Anthony was perfect — a generous portion of clearly fresh salmon, perfectly cooked, nicely seasoned and served over a bed of gnocchi with spinach and olive oil. And, at $21.00…a veritable bargain in the current economy. Add to that a glass of pinot Grigio that was excellent for...
Read moreStopped by today for the first time for a late lunch after bike riding. Clean, cozy place with parking right in front. I had the lunch portion of gnocchi with a meatball after a cup of chicken noodle soup for a starter. Wifey had a salad for starters followed by a lunch portion of angel hair with a meatball and piece of sausage. Plenty of food, wifey even took a doggy bag. All of this for the princely sum of about $15. Excellent...
