A couple of weeks ago I was down in Ypsi for work and I don't have any Mediterranean or Middle Eastern food options in Northern Michigan, so I honestly just walked into the first place I saw that had the words "Falafel" and "Halal" in the sign. A clean, borderline sterile and contemporary dining room with a walk-up counter and easy to read menus makes the ordering process easy, and I chose the chicken sandwich. The chicken was prepared fresh over the course of 5 minutes or so, and then the person preparing adds other fillings and toppings upon request. There are deserts like cheesecake and baklava available. After I paid and went to the parking lot, I couldn't resist and took a bite of my sandwich. 2 seconds later, I had eaten the whole thing. The attention to detail in each dish sets Lazeez Eats apart. Whether it's the homemade hummus or the rich, sweet baklava, you can taste the care and effort that goes into every plate. For anyone looking to enjoy a satisfying meal with a homemade touch, Lazeez Eats is a must-visit. I’ll definitely...
Read moreI’m kind of a traditionalist when it comes to falafels, but I was very intrigued by the additional options offered here. The falafel balls were made to order, very hot and fresh, and a wide variety of optional ingredients were available. Everything was excellent and abundant. Not only a good value for the money, but so pleasing to the taste buds. I always look for falafels and gyros when traveling, and I was truly not disappointed by Lazeez Eats. I know a good falafel when I find a good place, and this place is one of the best in America. You must try their red hot sauce. Obviously, I highly recommend this place. If you appreciate a good falafel, you will be happy you stopped by. I can only wish I lived closer to this place, but being from Washington State, I can only let you know my experience. I hope my schedule will bring me back before I...
